Jay-Z earned $547 million in 2007. (http://panachereport.com/channels/cover ... nnifer.htm)
This means that he didn't quite earn $99 per second ($1 per problem per second), but $17.345 per second - a number that, incidentally, is astonishingly close to the total number of 'problems' I cited as being in his rap, "99 Problems." So while the old aphorism "Mo' money, mo' problems." holds, it is clear here that Jay-Z does not know how to count. Clearly, he miscounted his number of problems by a factor of over 80 - proof, if anything, that we need to improve education in the math and sciences in inner-city schools.
Just saying.
