I don't care for any fruit flavorings in my iced tea. Just make it with tea bags, water, and sugar. Nothing else. One time I went to a friend's house for supper and a ghost hunt (at a favorite site of ours) afterward, and they served up peach-flavored iced tea. It wasn't too bad, but I still prefer plain sweet iced tea.
And those apple turnovers look orgasmic. I need to force my parents to make some. I wonder how they'd taste with the vodka pie crust recipe we got from America's Test Kitchens...
My great-grandmother on my dad's side used canned biscuit dough. My dad had made them one time, and they were excellent. Just pop open the can, take out a biscuit, roll it out until it's twice its diameter, and half its thickness, place a spoonful or two of apple filling in the middle, fold in half, seal edges, and deep fry.
