I should have it in the next 2 day's, not here yet, but living slightly rural might add a day to the delivery, now 48hours is over I will have a heap of space available.

HDD has arrived, looks like a shit, give it a once over and removed over 15 gbs of duplicates added about 75 gb of music and movies of coarse removing any duplicates from it, will send on Tuesday.

The drive is a bit full up of people atm. I think it would be a good idea having two cycles. That intersect at one person. Then that person pms people the file lists of both drives to everyone. If anyone wants something from the drive in the other cycle, the pm back their request, and the intersecting person moves across the requested stuff.

It all makes sense in my head, I swear.

hmm, it could work. we would need another drive though, and im pretty much broke after running into the cops twice in the last month.

EDIT: does anyone have say 2tb free at the moment to do this or will one of us have to bulk up our servers?

The bad boy was sent today on fastway's and I really need to get another hdd, 500gb main a 80gb secondary and a 160gb external is not cutting it.

If it come's to it I have a 3.5" IDE external case that I wouldn't mind contributing if there is a hdd floating around for it.
Also I am good with lists (as you will see next time you receive the hdd). Also I am sort of sub distributing to my mates what they want so I will put the list up on somewhere. Ok this is the list of what I have on me now The List

Once I pay off my credit card (in a month or two) I should be able to spend a bit on this. But you shouldn't really have to, I mean if the intersecting person gets both drives at once, they can just plug them both in to one computer, and transfer directly across.

Just gone to Hamilton, Also the list is not 100% complete of whats on the drive, just what I have from the drive.

nah, found the problem. the old hardrive i was using after my main one crashed was only running SP2, have it sorted now that ive got my new drive in and a fresh install of winxp pirate edition.

Erm...hello.
I'm not sure where to post this but this thread might be my best bet...

Is there anyone here who goes to Canterbury Uni and can tell me what the hub(s) is/are?
This is quite possibly an incredibly noob-like question, but I'm asking it anyway.

From what I can tell it's some kind of computer related system where you can exchange stuff?
Anyway if anyone knows...please enlighten me.

Didn't even think of informing the forums but #xkcd (the irc channel) had a meetup on july 7th. It was fun. Snark, Fantasyprone, FP's Sister, Potassium (me), Fenixx, YellowOnion and Maximinus. Snark drove up from Dunedin and FP and her sis were over from aussie and the reason behind the meetup.
We had rum, a broken xbox, psx games and controllers but no psx and a Wii with three controllers, which we used to kill zombies and play mariocart.

Was fun.
