In balance to the I did good thread I though it would be a good idea to have a 'I messed up' thread. The reason for this is that from my basic knowledge of psychology, particularly research into bulimia (and to me my own experiences count for something) suggests that the ability to accept a small slip up or failure and keep going rather than accepting complete defeat (and in a bulimic case eating masses and masses) is highly important to the ability to keep up the good work.
In my case I've proved this to my self through giving up smoking through cold turkey and now eating healthy and exercising lots. I suppose the thread should really be named the 'I screwed up, but it's ok because I'm still going to keep going and I haven't actually ruined my good work yet' thread but it's a little too long and I never miss an opportunity to say 'Aw shucks'
to start, I went on a road trip yesterday so ended up eating petrol station food and when I got home I ordered a large dominoes because I was sooo shattered. Today though I bought some goggles to help encourage me to get up at 6 and go swimming.
