The aim of the game is to alternate from post to post between adding a good detail and a bad detail to a situation. Be as esoteric or inane as you want.
Example:
Good news - you're finally going skydiving!
Bad news - when you jump, your parachute won't work!
Good news - There's a truck full of pillows conveniently placed right below you to cushion your fall.
Bad news - there's a bear driving the truck!
I'll start, going with bad news since it's probably more interesting like that.
Bad news, you just came home from work and there's a poisonous viper on the driveway!

good news: one of the missiles comes at you, and you are (through your raptor-like reflexes) able to dodge it and light the end of the molotov cocktail with the flame shooting out of the end of the missile, which didn't harm you at all because your clothing is flame-retardant.
