Wait, what? I missed the box of goodies? :(
And, so, votes were reset, then? Great, the box of goodies was fun,(even to read) but told us...nothing.
Not really surprised that Mafia players love goodies.

It's actually not. It still happened. And my vote still stands.

And in case it doesn't: Vote: Entropy

(And honestly, that was what, the first twelve hours of the game proper? That was more activity than most games see.)

As far as Day1's go, this doesn't seem to be too bad. Though I'd watch out for a bandwagon on Entropy just because he enjoys buying things.

But I have seen worse ways to vote on Day1, when we have really nothing else to go on. So I'll be looking out for other prospects sooner or later.

(Just out of curiosity, when does the day end? And how long does the night last here?)

For those of you who, like me, were wondering, Tukery was a capitalist nation during the Cold War, and remains so today. (I'm not taking sides in the voting yet, although I do worry that there's too little discussion. I guess Day 1 takes what they give you and you run with it, so I'm leaning towards voting for Entropy just because...he acted? I dunno. I'm not sure how rational we're being here.)

He destroyed rope. He managed to leave just enough to hang himself with, by my count. We have no clue what that rope would have done, but it could have given us information (before being junked by the mod). His free-market blathering could have just been a smokescreen to make him look like one of the Turks.

I'm somewhat interested at the number of players that have directed a vote at Entropy for somewhat petty reason... I'm pretty sure he was just making a joke. The first votes are ok for starting discussion, but by the time we got to NaR it looks like a few people are just trying to get an early end to the day. Of course, it's NaR... he always acts up, but seriously man.

Ninja'd: ok, now we're just getting weird. FoS: NaR.

Well, he could very well be a jester... or...

Not all Turks are scum. Now, I might have judged wrongly. I was suggesting with the "enough to hang himself with" that he made a mistake and that mistake would wind up making him dead. The possibility of him being a jester is enough to make me hesitate. Jesters can explode sometimes, and I don't want anybody getting blasted.

Unvote

But only because of the potential for jester-y problems.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're bandwagoning against Entropy because he burned some rope? Something that no longer even matters in the game? Why aren't we going after people who hoarded Advil, or who tried to tear down the wall? Answer: Because that would be ridiculous.

Come on, guys. There have got to be better reasons to lynch somebody.

Well my personal opinion on Entropy would lead against him being the jester, simply because it seems too obvious a ploy to get lynched. I think it's best that we assume he's just being a jerk, he's never 100% serious about his mafia.

Also:

10 votes to lynch

(by the way: yes, it is 10 votes, not 11, because I go by 1/2 vote to lynch (rounded up) instead of majority.)

Frogman, you might want to recheck your thoughts on the logic of letting half votes cause a lynch. It's no big deal right now, but if you get down to even small numbers (e.g. 1v1) then the whole majority thing is much needed, else it just comes down to who places a vote for whom first.

But in saying that, the mod is always right, so whatever you say goes.

So you want to stop the ones who want a rock to wind a string around? Does that mean you're the person who's trying to burn the playhouse down? >_>

Mods: How much are we supposed to read into TMBG lyrics?

And you're saying that the string-burning you did was a test? Kind of an odd social experiment, if you ask me.

Wow. Way to avoid day one apathy.

First impressions: entropy not scummy (especially with contextual justification), mindless bandwagon very scummy.

Random TMBG spot: Birdcage in your soul was played on triple J yesterday.

Lyrics of interest:
They Might Be Giants wrote:They call me Dr Worm
Good morning how are you I'm Dr Worm
I'm interested in things
I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm
I am an actual worm
I live like a worm

Thoughts: a doctor? Not a doctor? A drummer? Could be town or anti. (Not hugely helpful, I know)
