There'll be another movie night next weekend, I'm sure you could nominate Firefly again.

Renomination is fine.
I was thinking about making it Saturday. Is that fine?

Saturday sounds good.

How many people attend this? If we're few enough ( :P ) we could maybe get a vent or TS² server up (unless irc already supports voip (don't use irc much))

To end it: I renominate firefly :)

Last time, maybe 11?
I don't really know what you are saying, but I did set up a livestream channel today at http://www.livestream.com/xkcdmovies, and I updated my webpage at http://pubpages.unh.edu/~sje46/streamingirc.html so it has an AWESOME banner and I made the widget actually work with the page.
So, keep them coming! I will stop nominations maybe tomorrow .. so yeah . .

In the mean time, you can go to the page, and I have it on a constant loop of music videos, mostly stuff I like, like Beatles, Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, but my friends suggested some more, and I put those up. So you can suggest some of those too.

I'm talking about getting a server up so that we can speak and not only type.

oh.. Yeah. I'm thinking I won't be able to come at all on Saturdays cos of work and such, so not that my opinion matters in this, but I go along with the renomination of a Firefly Marathon, but you'd have to watch Serenity with it too.

Oh. This does sound awesome.

I'm quite certain that I could lend a mumble channel for use, at least up to ~25 people (probably more).
http://mumble.sourceforge.net/
It's like ventrilo, but better and foss. It works under windows/linux/mac.

If it's a good movie/tv-series, I'll post the ip on friday 23.00 UTC-0, is that okay? Since I'm guessing we will start on saturday 00.00 UTC-0.

I nominate firefly! I have never seen that one. Where will we get the video feed? Or should you buy the dvd and have it ready? If so, how to sync everything? I think that is going to be a problem, especially if we are going to see multiple episodes of a tv series.

That's the tricky thing. I really want to stream it, but we might not be able to.

I guess I'm going to have to look for places to illegally download movies and such, and then livestream that.

Time to vote!

Does anyone else have a problem with the poll, in that each option is coming up several times?

WE NEED MORE VOTES.

Also, the movie starts not in an hour and a half, but in 25 hours. It starts at 0GM on what is technically Sunday.

I downloaded the first episode, and its taking a long time. Hopefully I can keep up

I'd prefer it to sunday as this way I can stay up all night friday and then have the rest of the weekend to fix my broken sleep schedule
