Hey kids!

I'm going to the opening of Harry Potter tonight at AMC Boston Common. I'll be in theatre one...looking nothing like Abraham Lincoln.

Anyone else going? Anyone with a car who will be willing to drive Sandry and I back to Somerville?

I kind of heard this new Harry Potter movie sucks. But then again...you can't trust some people with movie reviews...

Anyway, I want to go see Transformers today, so I'm not going to see Harry Potter, even though my friend invited me to go with her, and no one else wants to go either, which made me feel kind of bad about it, but oh well!

I am currently re-reading the book so it will be fresh in my mind when I go to see the movie, and gripe about how off the movie was.

I've got four IMAX tickets for Thursday night. Me, my lady, and my mom and dad. That's how awesome I am. A double date with my mom and dad.

Some people have gotten in to so called "Black Curtain" screenings(Think that's what it was called), basically they had to print out some profiles from myspace and they could use that as tickets, I don't really remember how it worked.

I think the T just needs to stay open late just for this. I think I'm going tomorrow sometime instead of staying up throw my alarm clock out the window late at night.

It's so much fun to go at midnight, because everyone there will be college students and adult(ish)s. But yeah, totally the T needs to stay open IN GENERAL!

Damn you. Damn you to hell. There's not an IMAX close enough to me. The closest one that's playing it is on the other side of the state. I would love to see it in IMAX, especially the "Advanced Guard" scene when Harry leaves Privet Drive and flies to Sirius Black's home with Moody, Tonks, Shacklebolt, Lupin and other wizards from the Order. Would be too damn cool. Might get motion sickness from it, but what the hell. Would make it all worth it.

I may be going to see it at midnght tonight. "May", as in "Ticket is already bought for me". Weather or not I actually go see it depends on weather or not my mother decides to be a bitch today.*

I feel like I'd be spotted as one of those people who hasn't read any of the books and has only seen each of the movies ~once. I would be strung up by scarves and stabbed with wands. The T does seem to quit running exactly when you get out of a late movie at the BC theatre. Taking a cab from BC to Somerville sucks though. Central Sq is bad enough.

I am starting to get excited about Deathly Hallows, however.

I'd WALK it to Central! Sandry and I did that for Goblet of Fire (she used to live near Inman).
I'd ALMOST walk home tonight. Maybe we'll walk to Central and cab home? More cabs in Central anyway...or Harvard.

The first was awesome. The third was really nice and dark. The fourth was very funny. The second was a waste. They are done by different directors. Check another out.

Me going wouldn't help your no ride to Sommerville problem

since I would rather park my car in the charles than pay to park it in Boston.

I could walk to Central Sq, but at like 2-3am on a weekday its pretty odd. Not as bad on the weekends.

I was kidding about the spoilers. I've read the book a few times, currently re-reading it so it will be fresh in my mind.

I have a ticket purchased for me, and I would be spotted as one of those people that's read several pages of one of the books (don't remember which) and saw one of the films (don't remember which), and the people I'd be going with are mostly superfans. I was going to go to have a chance to hang out with all of them.

But then I got sick. No staying up until 5AM tonight, need at least one more night of good sleep to get over it.

The only book I read even the same year it came out (or anywhere near the same year, really) was book 6. This one I will be reading once i finish Dune, which I will be finishing once I finish stardust...so this puts me probably sometime around October.
