I'm also a macrophage, I'm immune to any infections, and MoA is 100% truthful. Now if someone could kill NAR, that would be lovely.

Well I'll second the Amy don't leave comments (or should that be 9th or something?)

First thing- my day duel was one off i'm afraid, so we'll have to stick to old fashioned lynching. However, so many people are anti-NAR that I'm willing to be convinced at this point. Also

"Killed N3, Stem Cell, matured to Photoreceptor, Infected by HV6, Converted to Mafia" is useful, as it finally does confirm what happens to infected cells.

Okay, we should still wait for Dromtry to show up and use his power, so we can confirm that whoever he selects is not infected, or, if he/she is infected, we know where to start pointing fingers tomorrow. (Even though infected does not necessarily mean mafia, as we now know, if the game is still going tomorrow, then I think that would mean someone who has claimed a very believable claim is either being super tricky or got turned into mafia.)

Other than waiting for Dromtry to do his thing, I can totally get on board with a quick NAR lynch. Although, I suppose we should at least let NAR post whatever he can dream up as a role claim.

Is there anything else we need to discuss today?

It would seem as though any words that I have for you to hear will be ineffectual. Just in case that isn't so, though, I am the Cytotoxic T cell. Other than that, I don't really know what I can say. It's between the Flying Cookie and myself.

Re: [normal] CELL CULTURE: Cells Win

Postby Sungura » Tue Nov 17, 2009 2:26 am UTC

The cells conglomerate one last time. Deciding to end this infection once and for all, they quickly decend upon Not A Raptor. He was indeed not a raptor, but a stinky ol' virus trying to infect cells one by one by one by one.

His mission failed, the cells onto him, releasing cytotoxins and being chased by natural killer cells and eaten by macrophages, he did the only thing he knew how to do. He gathered up fake cell bits to try to pretend to be one of them, except, they were too smart for him.

Not A Raptor is dead. He was the remaining virus.

TOWN WINS.
As well as our independents who win with town, etc etc etc.

Wow. This was an interesting game. Although i didn't get to read spoilers until the 2nd half, and was killed swiftly due to my parent cell dieing from lurkage, i had fun watching in anyhow. THe game had an interesting premise, I'll have fun seeing the roles and such now.
Also-I win. cool.

In the end, I think messing up yesterday helped me, because if I was killed for lurking and mpolo was NKed, there would be no way to clear the air about Cookie or NaR.

Sorry mpolo. I'm a dummy mcdumbface. I was planning on killing NaR basically all of yesterday and all of last night. Then when i went to turn in my kill...i changed it to you.

Sorry.

Also...yeah. I was the original NK Cell...spawned from PS as a stem cell.

One question though, I spawned from Brook, but unless I'm mistaken, he spawned the same time I did, how does that work?

Well played town, awesome theme, unique mechanics and seemed generally well balanced. The only grumble I have (and I'm on mobile so I haven't read the role descriptions yet) is that due to the few players initially, odds were a bit stacked against the virii to escape a d1 lynch. But, then again, I'm biased :P

I hope you decide to run another game like this, Amy.

Cool game. Go town for an exemplar performance, considering we hadn't exactly figured out how the game worked before the end!

Just so you know, this is how infection worked:

A virus picks a a person to infiltrate. The virus joins that person's culture and infects the person. The person can then either be recruited into the ranks of the virii or killed. I could only kill those who I infected.

The star in the spreadsheet says when the person entered the game. Sometimes they would enter various points throughout the night or whatever. Not necesarily at the start of the day.
Glad you guys had fun.

That was really fun.

I love the N3 crazyness (I protect MoA, preventing him from being converted; I get converted, then I get killed by... MoA)

I'm still impressed that Amy was making up and assigning roles midgame. Those are mad mod skills (or skillz if you prefer).

Even though I lost (role said I had to survive), it still feels like a win... So close.

(EBWOE: By the way, it doesn't say so in the role dump, my role said I could only ask "Are you, name, a virus?", as opposed to scoping infected cells, as Dromtry did. Although Dromtry seems to have done both. Or maybe I took the role too literally...)

Nicely done, town. I'm sorry I wasn't more active in this game (first ever time modkilled - the shame)! I didn't really engage with the game - I didn't pay attention to the game when I wasn't playing, then nothing went right (my first recruit target was instantly killed, my second recruit failed). Then work got hectic and I was sent to Glasgow and just kinda lost track of the fora... Anyway, none of that's really any excuse - so sorry y'all, congrats to the town, and mucho thanks to Amy for modding!
