I am in favor of everyone just roleclaiming at this point (you already have my claim), since that will give us something else to work from tomorrow. I think the benefits (more information out in the open helps to find scum) outweigh the detriments (letting scum know how they can play better) at this point.

Thoughts?

Also, anyone have time to put together a list of what has been claimed so far?

Finally, I will be traveling for the holidays starting this morning, and so will be online much less than usual for at least the next 10 days.

I'm an inventor. Day one I had a lie detector (thanks for the idea, VZ) that was prone to lying itself (thank you, Dark Loink). Day 2, I made an artificial sun, which I actually hoped would let us skip a night, but it turned out to be a semi-public investigation. I don't know what my invention from today does, and I don't want to tell the scum so they get any funny ideas.

I send messages at night. One message per night, and I'm given a character limit. (Cause I'm a hamburger with a cellphone strapped to me) So, if anybody gets a message in txt speak during the night, it's me.

I sent a message to hendu on night one, and a message to Brook on night two.

I can confirm I recieved a message that had obviously been hilariously compressed at dawn today (kinda like a text message)

Well, we need to get back to strategy here...

VZ seems to be just trying to push the game on fast and doesn't care who gets lynched along the way.

P.M. says he wasn't role-blocked, Brook says he blocked him. Perhaps P.M. is just being clever with a self-imposed post restriction. Though his description of his power and my investigation result go so well together, that I'm inclined to believe him. So the question is if someone messed with brook as well, I suppose.

Sorry, I don't really have much time right now. Did we get roleclaims from everyone? Can anyone make a list so that they are all in one place, and maybe see if we can figure out who might be lying?

I still think that a PM lynch is the best way to clear the water as much as possible, but that doesn't mean we cannot figure out anything today, so let's not let this game stall out.

Eh, I guess I'll pitch in. I am Boo from The Mighty Orbots. Haven't actually seen the show, but apparently Boo is somewhat shy, which was the reason for my post restriction in the first two days. S/he also has the power of invisibility, which for me equals one-shot of doctor (which I used on mpolo last night to keep his investigation alive), and two-shots of role cop (of which one was used).

...Is it just me, or does the town seem unnaturally powerful this game. I mean, sure, somebody has to be lying about their role, but still...

O.K. Summary time --

Master Of All -- claims protecting roleblocker (protects a person from all enemy actions) -- no role name provided
Cellery -- claims posting restriction, one-shot doctor (used), two-shot role cop (one used) -- Boo
VectorZero -- claims lyncher for Hendu
Not A Raptor -- sends short messages at night -- hamburger with a cell phone (Brook confirmed receiving a message like this)
mpolo -- inventor -- I might as well say now that I am a Duck (who can breathe underwater, because everyone knows that ducks can breathe underwater)
Princess Marzipan -- two day protection with post-restriction -- swine flu vaccine (is the protection only a night protection? Can he even be lynched today?); one cop against him, one for him
Brooklynxman -- roleblocker -- no name claim; P.M. claims roleblock did not work against him

Interestingly, it said in the day post 6 players, four to lynch, and it appears to actually be 7 players, four to lynch.

To me, VectorZero's claim seems to be the least believable at the moment. (Or he's scum with a personal extra goal of lynching the cop, of course.) However, we have suspected him of being a jester for some time. I was feeling a little queasy about Master of All yesterday, but it turns out he was siding with a cop, so I don't feel so bad about him now.

Perhaps, then, we ought to lynch you... just in case. You won't mind much, we get to be safe in the knowledge that we're not hitting town, and everybody walks back to day 4 all the happier. (Not to mention that we won't get caught in a scenario where we find ourselves stuck at lylo with a potential jester)

Er, no. Just, no. That will not help the town, and I'd prefer sunshine and happiness and electoral fraud and all the good things of towniship over the scum and villainy of a mafia win (which also has electoral fraud but they don't have the damn decency to hide it).

Well, I was hesitant to give my rolename since there are definite "Italian" implications, and it doesn't really make sense how my rolename translates to my role. But, in the interest of full disclosure, I am salami. Which means that I own a submarine, of course. Which submarine I can use to hide someone (even myself) in, of course. Which hiding prevents all night actions from occurring to target, of course. (Dark Loink's mind appears to be a strange and wonderful place.)

I don't think that the 6 player / 7 player thing means anything other than a slight mistake by the mod (when I counted the number of players left at the start of the day I originally counted 5 somehow!).

I realized that Brook's "block" not working might also be significant in the moment we are. If he is mafia, it would be the perfect cover -- "I blocked you, and so you couldn't kill anyone", when in fact, he tried to kill someone who was protected... This all hangs on whether P.M. is just faking a post restriction or not, though.

And as Cellery said, there are an awful lot of powers here on the town side...

I think I can confirm VZ's jesterness, he was my N1 target, and assuming there is only one mafia survivor then there should have been no nk N1. So at the very least he is likely not scum (it killed me to accept that d2, I was SO sure d1 he was scum)

Post restriction is real. Still haven't really had time to read through. I MIGHT tonight; if so I'll complete and post it tomorrow.

And yes, someone is clearly lying right out their ass. cellery is telling at least some of the truth; I sent in his role.

I will claim my role. It is a Math teacher (exact wording will be checked in a min). Once per night I can send a person a really hard math problem they have to work on. I asked the mod, and have been making people try to find a way to divide by zero without ending the universe. Yes, I am a deviant bastard,

Wouldn't you make something solvable in the case that it would bestow a power or benefit if done correctly?

Alright, we no longer seem to be having any useful discussion, while we continue taking up one of the two slots for an active mini.

I strongly suggest that we get this game moving again by completing the lynch on Marzipan, giving us all another night to use our various powers (whether real or pretend) and then we can again try to sort everything out on the following day.

So, unofficial vote count is:

Marzipan - 3 (MoA, Brook, VZ)

Just need 1 more vote to lynch (whether there are 6 or 7 players it should still be 4 to lynch).

Apparently Ducks as inventors are pretty useless. That's right, I was a duck who sells duck tape, but got a creative streak and started inventing.

Day one I invented a lie detector, but was informed from the get-go that it had a 20% chance of failing. I detected that Kolko's statement that his win condition didn't interfere with that of the town was a true statement. (And it was...)

Day two, I invented the artificial sun, which detected that P.M. was town. So, unless he was a godfather -- possible --, it didn't work.

Day three, I invented an ultrasonic high-power whale repellent device (which didn't amuse Dark Loink). I had protected myself for the night from whales and all other non-humans, at least in theory.

Hendu, thanks for clearing up another mystery. After Night one, I found a black plume by my door. I assume that this came from your investigation.

Congrats all around to town!
