Zohar wrote:No. The base uses 5 of the eggs (I think? maybe four?). I separate to whites and yolks, whip up the whites and then fold into the rest (chocolate, butter, yolks and so on). This makes it very fluffy and it rises well in the oven. Then I pour the mousse on top of it and let cool. Doesn't even need a freezer (mousse is made primarily with chocolate, whipped cream and eggs). There's some amaretto liquor in it (almond liquor) but not too much and you could replace it with some other suitable alcohol.
