INFP, fits okish... but I came something like 25/12/17/69 which makes me think that overall it struggles to fit me into one "bin" effectively.

INTP for me, although the P was actually very nearly tied with J.

Edit:I suppose I should mention that I obtained this result each time I took an offline version. I haven't taken an online version.

What has alway bothered me about the test is that for almost every question my answer is "it depends" because that is the only reasonable answer unless they give more information. What bugs me even more is that obviously tells you quite a bit about my personality but it won't show up on the test because they are not testing me they are testing how I differ from the people around me and assuming that everybody will be surrounded by the same people.

I'm fairly sure that I didn't experience a horoscope effect when I read the INTP description. My friends read it too, and they said it was perfect. but I could be wrong.

When I took this test a year ago, several times over the course of a couple months... consistently got INTJ.

Now, I've been consistently getting ENFP. My, have I changed. INTJ described me well then, and ENFP describes me well now...

Yet again, I got INFP. Not really surprised, INFP is what I got when I took the test a few years ago. and a few years before that.........

I oscillate between INTP and INTJ. We took this in seventh grade for fun, and my teacher let us chose which we wanted to be under. I switched between Mastermind and Architect a lot.

A lot of tests say I have a preference for Mastermind, but all of the descriptions tell me I'm an Architect. I'm not particularly driven, nor am I very solution-oriented. I like to learn things purely for knowledge, not so that I can do something.

ETA: Yep, just looked at a few more things, and I'm a very strong INTP, no matter what my test scores. It was probably a few of those "eh, dunno, click" questions.

Wow, either the test is flawed, or we have a rediculously strong shift towards INTx as 59% are that here... in rl only ~5% are INTx.

Gah!!!! religious education?!?!?!?! I find that offensive!!!

However, in the art/science section, there's musician, archeology and writer, and alough Im not archelogist/musician, I find the first very interesting (and considered to study it) and the second one.....I wish!!! hehe, my useless un-artistic hands bound my to writing...

I recently took a Myer-Briggs personality type assessment test and I found it interesting how accurate it described me. (Though, it also called me arrogant. I think some idiot must left a bug in the program.) Also, I started to wonder what the personality make-up of xkcd was. I wonder how different it will be than the average make-up in the world.

It appears to be pretty accurate. (I tested it myself, and it correctly labeled me. Though, one data point does not a conclusion make. If you happen to know a better site for a free myer-briggs test, then be sure to post it).

Yeah, I took it at Naviance too. We're like sisters!

But, this is actually what I expected. Similar people group together. xkcd seems to be a magnet for people with an INTx description. This is part of the reason I like going here, or to math team competitions. These are my people. Here, we are the majority.

Though, I did expect more ISTJ's. And I do find it interesting how the least common in America are the most common here.

INTP

I just took the test at my college testing center a month ago. It fits really well.

I don't know the exact percentages I got, but I was just a little bit on the Introverted side, clearly on the Intuition side, moderately towards the Thinking side and pretty much 99th percentile on the Perceiving side.

I came up as ENTJ
Only borderline Extroverted and Intuitive, at 54% each
I came up as Judging just barely over Perceiving at 51%
Thinking knocked out Feeling at 70%

I think the relative weights are fairly accurate to my personality. I am more extroverted than introverted, but I don't go out of my way to socialize. When I do to socialize, I can do so comfortably. No fear of introducing myself to strangers, or even public speaking.

Intuitive over Sensing, depends on the situation. When problem solving, I tend to go off intuition. I have a knack for figuring out how things work. One of my best skills is reverse-engineering. When dealing with people, I rely more on sensing that intuition.

Same thing with judging over perceiving. I'll judge objects, but perceive people. Depending on how the test questions were phrased, those can go either way.

I'm not surprised about the Thinking over Feeling. If anything, I'd rank myself higher on thinking at about 85/15.

Historically INTJ, with a huge I, slight N, and middling T/J, but last time I took the test I scored ISTJ, barely nicking the S by the slimmest of margins.

So I checked off INTJ on the board, but might be drifting away...oh, INTJ, how I'll miss you.

Last time I took it I flipped at least half of my personality traits and was borderline with the other ones. I can't find my results, but I think I may have been an ISFJ the last time I took it.

ENTPs are usually verbally as well as cerebrally quick, and generally love to argue--both for its own sake, and to show off their often-impressive skills. They tend to have a perverse sense of humor as well, and enjoy playing devil's advocate. They sometimes confuse, even inadvertently hurt, those who don't understand or accept the concept of argument as a sport.

ENTPs are capable of bonding very closely and, initially, suddenly, with their loved ones ... others are so demonstrative that they succeed in shocking co-workers who've only seen their professional side. ENTPs are also good at acquiring friends who are as clever and entertaining as they are.

Aside from those two areas, ENTPs tend to be oblivious of the rest of humanity, except as an audience -- good, bad, or potential.

I hope I'm not like that.

And... yep. INTJ again.
...I'm thoroughly impressed with how strongly the respondents on this fora skew toward this and INTP. If anything, it makes me feel like I fit in.
