RANDALL YOU SHOULD REALLY BACK UP THAT ASSERTION OF HISTORICAL AWESOMENESS FOR THEY AS A SINGULAR GENDER-FREE PRONOUN WITH SOME REFERENCES

ALSO YOU DIDN'T USE THE WORD AWESOME IN YOUR DINOSAUR COMICS PARODY

CLEARLY YOU ARE NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS AND RYAN IS A MASTER OF DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING

MEANWHILE IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE WES NEVER TALKS EXCLUSIVELY IN CAPITAL LETTERS:

This is awesome! The last two panels had me silently laughing out loud! (I can do that, when people are sleeping.)

I think this hits the "Parody" nail the best, altho MegaXkcd wasn't bad in that respect either.

This is my favorite parody comic thus far (the softer world parody is a close second) Hilarious.

Now the big question is, if you're asked to do a guest week comic for one of these comics, will you be able to just recycle your parody comic?

This would be both witty and economical!

But at least two of them linked the comic on their front pages, and with the exception of maybe megatokyo I share a lot of readers with them all. So I have to do actual work :(

Hello from the future!

As of November 7th, 2011, T-Rex has an "official" opinion on they as a gender neutral third person pronoun:
T-Rex wrote:... don't even try to trot out "they" for me, English. Don't even. "They" is plural and has always been plural...

Apparently, "thon" is the preferred alternative.

Alt text: "THON SMASH GENDER-CENTRIC LANGUAGE" WORK FOR BOTH THON (MAN) AND THON (WORD); THON APPROVES
And the link.
