We used to play this game where one person picked a common thing, for example "Wheel" or "Chair" or "Fish" and then the object was to get there, not to Adolf Hitler. It also proved quite helpful in spotting "errors" like related articles that weren't referenced in each other, or words that should have been links which weren't. I guess you could argue that playing these wikipedia games can be a volatile exercise, but as long as one does it responsibly it ends up improving and not ruining.

You'd think there would be an inherent reversibility in going back to the same article, but fairly often, as is the case with a lot of geographical locations, for example the countries don't link directly back to the cities and so on.
