Summer Reading List

Postby Philflipsnor » Tue Apr 13, 2010 11:36 pm UTC

I have a list of books to read over the summer, and I own them all. Thing is, I don't know what order to read them.

I'll provide the list of books (some you've read, some you've not), and you provide me with an order you think would be interesting to read them in. Here's the list:

The Razor's Edge
The Gargoyle Code
The Kite Runner
People of the Book
How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization
Prince of Thieves
The Virgin Suicides
Freakonomics
Ender's Game
The Corrections
Run
Lost in the Cosmos
Atonement
The Red Tent
The English Patient
Andromeda Strain

I say read them in the order you posted them in.
Does it really matter which one you read first.
If you can't make a decision on it then just read them in the order you posted them in.
May Humanity's glory always shine bright.

Hrmm I think order can make a big difference as books will put you in different moods. It might be good to try and order the books by genre or writing styles. Still, Kite Runner and Ender's Game are both outstanding so I would make sure to put them near the top to read.

Freakonomics and How the Catholic Church Built... could be interesting but might be dry. So maybe follow them up with something good to get you back in teh reading mood

Yeah. I have been meaning to get to it for awhile. Seems like a pretty ridiculous book.
