That last episode was all kinds of awesome.

Spoiler:
Oh that whole thanksgiving scene was just awesome, I really wonder what he's being doing to all of them.

Anyways isn't Dexter going to be kind of screwed in the next couple of episodes? The reporter has met Dexter so if she sees "Kyle" then Trinity will instantly know who Dexter really is. Unless if she wants him dead for some reason.

Anyways from the trailer...

Spoiler:
Apparently there's going to be a 4th trinity victim, I wonder who he's meant to represent in Trinity's mind? Himself? Or did I miss something.

Oh and when I said "unless if she wants him dead" I was referring to Trinity not Dexter, considering how he treats his family I kind of doubt she had a nice upbringing.

I miss the times when I actually LIKED Rita. Now she's just annoying. I also miss Doakes, but that may be just me. And I really hope Quinn doesn't become the new Doakes.

There's a lot they could do with how the season ended...

Spoiler:
Next season might revolve around Dexter's new life as a widower, with three kids to take care of... including harrison, who now shares a similar past as dexter himself... quinn is also getting suspicious of dexter. Battista was there when arthur and dexter were talking at the PD... deb might be getting closer to discovering dexter's dark secret... there's a lot of connections that may lead one of the cast members to discover the truth behind dexter. There's a lot they can do with this show, given this seasons finale.

Spoiler:
Found rita to be annoying as fuck. They never made it clear if she was doing real estate in this season, so wtf was she always complaining about how tired she was 2 kids in school and looking after 1 single baby that sleeps most of the time and she can't get up and feed him?, and making Dex do all the late night stuff?

I just assumed that when he realized the car was in the auto shop he ran over there and did it there. And I thought Cody was gong to be Trinity's new victim, I kinda prefer this, but Rita never really annoyed me.

He saw the auto receipt figured out how trinity planned to get away - because he probably saw that trinity had paid for a new paint job. Ran to the shop, removed the cap when no one was looking, then hid in the trunk and just waited for the car to die.

Good fucking point.
Spoiler:
I am a very very minor gear head, and I assume that the smoke was just cosmetic as the oil burned, and didn't actually cause too much damage to the engine? I have no idea. I seem to recall the car stalling.

I think the only logical way he could have got home was that he fixed the car, and I just dont' know enough to know if its possible.

She wasn't too impressive for the most part, but the woman who played the reporter was pretty amazing in that scene
Spoiler:
with Lithgow in the parking garage. That scene really floored me, especially considering the way it illustrated how badly he messed her up.
About Rita:
Spoiler:
I really didn't think she was that bad. The only arguably objectionable thing I can think of is that she was big on sharing emotions, but only enough to be moderately annoying to a goddamn sociopath. You all must have great relationships.

More importantly, there's no way anybody thought she was worse than Astor. "I want an iPod!" Thank god she mellowed out after a few episodes; I was starting to wish she would turn out to be a murderer so Dexter could knock her off.

Anyways, I'm not too sad to Rita go. It wasn't too hard to see coming with all of Harry's nagging about the risks of having a family, risks which they've pretty much used up as far as plot points.
Lastly, I own you. (Season 2 spoiler.)

No, that's narration from Dexter Season 2 over video from Six Feet Under, which also starred Michael C. Hall. It's clearly not a real leaked video.

gosh darn. i thought it was a bit early.
the 1st ep of the previous season wasn't leaked until like august. that made much more sense promotion wise.
edit: im glad though because i dont want to see him hunting. i'd prefer to see the immediate aftermath of trinity.

The wiki page says that the next season will pick up immediately after the Trinity events, so for what that's worth, there it is. I hope so, you can't just do that at the end and then leave it be after the entire season gap just to say "Umm, nope, we're gonna give you some other stuff, maybe later".

talking about the 4 finale
Spoiler:
also angel might recognize him from talking to dexter at the police station. so he has that to account for as well. then the kids could also say he visited them under a fake name. there are a lot of loose ends for dexter to tie up.
