'90s Nostalgia

Postby thefiddler » Thu Aug 02, 2007 8:37 pm UTC

Hey, I'm making a playlist of songs that remind me of the '90s; hence -- '90s Nostalgia.

Any input from people would be great!

I already have this stuff (or at least some songs from these artists):
Savage Garden
Backstreet Boys
Spice Girls
Goo Goo Dolls
Edwin McCain
Ludacris
Weezer
Green Day
Sublime
No Doubt
Alanis Morissette
Sheryl Crow
Shakira
Barenaked Ladies
Marcy Playground
Blink 182
The Verve Pipe

Nirvana
Foo Fighters (from before they sucked)
Ministry
Filter
the Prodigy
You Am I

...oh dear, this could go on for a long time.

Oh man, I can get you a bunch of stuff...

I sort of took over a chat channel with about forty people in it for about three hours forcing people into reminiscing over nineties songs and then taking notes.

Then I made a mix. It's a very, very long mix.

Gotta go find that MP3 CD when I get home and check it out.

Yes, yes. I said that I was working on a '90s playlist in that one, too, didn't I? Why, yes, I did! :)

Anyway, thank you everybody! I'll definitely look for some of that stuff. :)

I love Blink182 and Sum41 they both win. I still listen to Fat Lip sometimes. When I'm alone.

I always hated that song. But I remember with affection "Saint Joe and the School Bus".

Pearl Jam is good nineties-grunge stuff. Also, Save Ferris is cool as well. I was pretty young then though, so I don't remember too much. The evilness that is pop music got a pretty good start late nineties though. I would wikipedia it.
