This game is really fun (addicting? likely). You are a mouse trying to get cheese and get back to your hole, but the level presents challenges that you will need a shaman in your group to get past (or they can just grief you, but its part of the fun). Eventually you will be the shaman. Please read help before this happens, so you can actually help the mice (that or spam cannonball. thats usually fun).

Pretty neat view of mob mentality and leadership. Especially on levels where the mice are solid. They will NEVER cooperate, and will kill each other to get at the cheese first.

I think it does borrow Too heavily from starcraft, and is untruthful about base principles(Crystals ∉ Free Game).

a) They give an unfair advantage against players not paying for the game.
b) The building queues seem to quadruple your build speed. I mean seriously, if it takes minutes to use resources which took hours to collect, I'd rather check in twice than ten times.

My only regret is that I'm no longer with my old job. We played *so much* FC1 around the office when it came out.

Okay, opinion time.

Still a pretty decent game, but not as good as FC1. The levels seem more strained, and generally more difficult without being more fun. Magnets add surprisingly little to the equation.

Mainly I'm just pissed that it's harder to solve every single level with catapults. My friends and I made a game of that last time. (Also, it might just be my imagination, but it seems like objects are slightly heavier now, which makes catapults less effective in general, and makes ram-based solutions harder too.)

I like the achievements, though. I solved the FC1 levels every which way, but only really because I had a group of people that I was immediately sharing cool results with. Having the achievements motivates me to try different types of solutions by myself, which is good.

Utopia, a text based, team based, real time strategy mid-evil fantasy game. I had a lot of fun with my kingdom for years until we all disbanded one by one. Very addictive.

I played Utopia *years* ago. Tons of fun, since I had some pretty cool people who stayed with me between ages. Faeries were always my favorite race, because you could just turtle and focus on magic. I led my kingdom as monarch for a few ages doing that.

I don't know how to download them but a workaround for me is to preload them and leave the browser open when I disconnect. Most games still work. And maybe you can select "work offline" and then open the page and it will still load if it was used recently and is in the cache.

View page source, find the .swf entry for flash games, I think .jar for java, may be something different. Load those in a downloading program (as your browser is probably set to automatically open them, not download them) and off you go.
