I have no memory for a little bit of Saturday night. I was not a productive member of society yesterday. Ouch. I still don't care to think about drinking ever again (yet).

But it was a lot of fun.

Drunk right now. Made many mistakes typing on the fora tonight....
I apologize, 90% of the time I write on the Fora I am intoxicated.

Oh dear. Had to check my own profile this morning to make sure I hadn't posted anything here last night for which I would have to apologize. Wine doesn't like me anymore and doesn't want to be my friend.

Random thought: six year old children are God's way of punishing the terminally hung-over.

(I'd have posted this on MMM but they are having an intellectual handbag fight over the definition of socialism. Not intellectually able to participate today. Frankly, not currently intellectually equipped to watch the Teletubbies)

I'm not sure you can leave that statement unexplained. Was there also, perchance, a chainsaw beside you when you woke up?

I am near drunk, and I have just enough poured into my next drink to push me over the edge. I am cooking chicken stock, so I can't get brownout drunk.

Wuuuuuut. Drank far too much tonight. Hitting on the guitarist in the pub all night = something I'll regret in the morning.

Every election, I sit around drinking as the results come in. This year followed the same pattern, and I am now smashed. Carry on.

Yeah, I know I am getting pretty drunk... It's for science, though. I am testing food as hangover prevention and cures. This time? Chicken Soup and a ham and cheese sandwich as prevention.

Well so much for that. I had a pint during lunch yesterday and I've only just realised that I wasn't supposed to do that. I get a pint with lunch every Thursday at that pub, so I ordered it without thinking.

Fuck, now I have to start all over again.

Well, hello thread. I may be the drunk leading the drunk, but someone had to keep an eye on my roommate's party. Even if it did include a lot of free beer.

The satisfaction you get by interrupting some sleaze bags whilst 'proposing' the girl next door by lifting one of them up at the throat and posturing yourself all threateningly is wonderful. Seeing him and his friends clear of: awesome. The girl next door thanking you: Priceless!

(Disclaimer: I didn't do this to get is said girls pants, but her parents and me are drinking buddies. Besides, it's the decent thing to do, right?)

I guess that I'm drunk enough that I've gone straight past being social and don't even want to go out anymore. I guess that the graph of my sociability versus drunkenness has the shape of a parabola (or the graph of entropy of a binary variable).

its prolly a bell curve. so my engineering group went on a mystery roadtrip today. We went to a random country club and started line-dancing. and my housemates girlfriend tried to set me up with her sister. She was reasonably attractive, but I don't think she actually wanted to do anytrhing, so it was pretty damn awkward. I did end up in some random punkish girl's photo, so that was cool. Anyway, I'm going to keep talking to my drunk friend, and my califonaina friend, who isn't frunk. XKCD fora, you keep me sane in the face of a massive amount of work. I really like you guys and girls and would like to know you better if you know what I mena. *wiggles eyebrows*. I wish I could actually wiggle my eyebroaws. thast would be the shit.

Somebody spiked the punch.

EDIT: Campari Punch

1 cup campari
1 cup gin
1 cup sweet vermouth
1/2 cup grenadine
2 bottles prosecco

Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl. Garnish with orange slices. Serve.

So that was a really good night out. I went to a pub then a meal then another trip to that same pub, finishing off in the club where I usually work. Yay for awesome workmates, free cloakroom, free shots, cheap drinks, epic win all round. I did end up being the only person out with two people called Joe who's birthday it was, but I just reckon that makes the night better. Somehow.

So now all I gotta do is get up tommorrow and say hi to my Grandma :s .
