May I ask why this is so?
Sorry, fixed. Saturday February 6th.
EDIT: Ah, hell.
I'm sorry guys, I need to put this on hold for the short term. I've just started at school and I've got some major stuff to sort out - I'm thinking we'll have a showing of The Truman Show in two weeks at the "usual" time (which is now Saturday) given nothing else comes up. If someone else is able to take over in the interim, please contact me or sean.

This is it - the official grave-dig that revives movie night. I'm planning to have movie night within the next two weeks and I'd like to get suggestions as to what movie we'll be watching - anything that has hit DVD is fair game.
Keep in mind that its not set in stone, as usual. Reliability of movie night managed to get lower once I started running it, and I'd like to carry that tradition on through its revival.

Scott Pilgrim!
I would watch that!
Tell me a couple days ahead, B, when you're showing that.
I want to show something scary too. Night of the Living Dead is completely legal to show. Also, has anyone seen Marble Hornets? That's scary as hell, if a bit amateur (it's a Youtube series).

I'd go for truman show, but would prefer something less well known. Motorpsycho, anyone?

Hmm, I've never seen a Russ Meyer movie before. If I had to see one, though, it would be Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, because I want to see how Ebert wrote movies.

Totally love this idea. Seems to be happening lots on Twitter as well these days. Only old schoolers know about #IRC chat.
Princes Bride would still be my #1 choice here. Best quotes.

Situation was somewhat unavoidable. PM me if you need clarification as I don't really want to publicly mention why.
Next week all the issues should be resolved.
I'll be having another, less-official showing of Scott Pilgrim vs the World tomorrow (SUNDAY @ 8pm EST) which will hopefully go smoother, and help me to iron out the issues with sound on the new machine. (testing starts at 4:30)

I saw moon and thought it was pretty good, but it's all about the short movie that comes on the moon DVD. It's called something like whistling, and was really good. I would definitely recommend a watch of moon though, even if I can't join in. (Stupid country, being in the wrong timezone)

I'm considering moving the showing of The Truman Show to next week.
Anyone badly want to watch it besides The Inevitable Barbara (hugs and <3 to you)?
