I stole it from a Camus play. I'm sure the old, dead Absurdist wouldn't mind and besides, when Googled, nothing relating back to me come's up. Plus I have a strange fascination with Russian history and literature, so this fits my personal interests quite well.

When I first joined the internet, I was 10, so I played lots of mini-game like things, and when it asked me for a name for the high-score, I put in hoopla, to mean general crazy excitement.

Spark was my favorite D&D character. I added the "el" part of it years ago because so many people had used "Spark" as a username.

My advisor once asked me, "Oh, I see your email is elspark...where is Els Park?" I blinked and told him that it was near where I grew up, and we just went on with the meeting.

I was playing Armagetron. In Armagetron, your display name may take up at most 15 characters, and you can use color codes in your name which aren't displayed but still take up 8 characters. I wanted to end my name with a bit of purple. Usually I contend with Julian, which is my real name, and it would fit perfectly if I didn't have a tag in my display name as well. So I asked my tron buddy Tidbit what to do, and he suggested to abbreviate my name as J+. Now I use that name everywhere the name "Julian" has already been taken.

From Tidbit in Armagetron I also got the description "purple nurple" which I use to display as purple nurple.

As you may guess from this post, I happen to like the color purple.

The "existential squirrel" was the unofficial mascot of my 12th grade English class - he was a squirrel who, in the middle of collecting nuts, would start questioning the meaning of his existence. We adapted him whenever we started a new unit, so, for example, we would walk in during the Hamlet unit and see on the whiteboard (drawn by one of my classmates) a squirrel in Shakespearean-type clothing holding an acorn as if it were Yorick's skull. Me and my friends started making up ''existential'' versions of other animals, just for fun, like an existential penguin or an existential llama.

And then I needed a username for something, I don't remember what, and I thought "Hmm....I like pandas....existential pandas! That could work!" And now I use it for everything.

(I've had other usernames before this happened, but they were all various degrees of dumb. This one I actually like.)

Didn't want to tie it to either of the other two names I use online, so I had to come up with a new one.

Being a dunce creatively, I thought I'd just pick a number and went for the number of a hockey player I like.
Didn't want people to think I named myself after that girl in House though, so I switched them digits around.

Listen. I wouldn't worry about that.

My username is something I came up with in high school; by analogy with nitrite, chlorite, etc., I could reasonably say that this is the Kryptonite ion. If there is a method for naming hypothetical ions, this is probably wrong (Maybe KrO_-1 since it's one less than the maximum number of oxygen atoms?) but I don't really care too much.
Another username I use often is probably even nerdier. I use "Malkarauko" or some form thereof because a) there are two elvish words for power, "vala" meaning authority and "malka" meaning strength or force, and b) the word for Balrog, translated as "demon of might," is "valarauko." This just seemed logical. It took me a while to figure out the spelling, so several of my usernames that are this but with mistakes added.

I used to take the name Zephir (It's a joke, where I come from, the words C-4 and Zephir are pronounced the same, and I like the double meaning of Zephir). But other people liked the name Zephir, too, so it was taken on most of the sites I registered to. One day, instead altering the word Zephir, I just decided to take another wind-realted name. I like north and I hate warn temperatures, so the decision was made pretty quickly.

After reading about rarely used, yet fantastic words such as "ereyesterday" and "overmorrow" I made up my own word, "Foremorrow". It is created from "fore" meaning, "ahead, before" and "morrow" meaning, "day"; it's synonymous with "yesterday".

Well, my dad and I were setting up the PS3 a year ago. I was tired of my old Playstation Underground username, 1up_Dude, so we bouncing ideas off of each other until this came up (there was a copy of Shrek on the TV stand). It wasn't taken, and so it came to be.

Every time I want to create a new account for anything I create a new name because I haven't yet found one that I like. This one is the last name of my D&D character that I made the other day. I didn't actually come up with it myself since I don't trust myself to come up with a good name, so I had friends suggest names until I found one I liked.

My family name in its original form (transition through various writing alphabets and an interesting story involving my dad and a really grumpy security official rendered our family name corrupted beyond meaning) literally means "Millerson" when translated to English. Some parts of the family have actually changed the name to Millerson (they live in Australia).

Anywho, konaya => こなや => 粉屋 => "miller" in Japanese. Simple enough.

Pansori is traditional Korean music. I think it is comparable to opera. Most people find it difficult to listen to, though. Been using it as a username for years because it's Korean and I like it.

Hmm I would pronounce Mathias as Mat-e-as or Mat-i-as or something like that and I am a native English speaker, though I have a bit of history with strange sounding words due to some books I read, an old toy series I used to follow and the fact that I know some Maori which in NZ most people learn it from either family or just because it is used frequently here.

Anyway another username I use is Glados da Aglet which I made up when I was completely obsessed with portal and I loved the word aglet and how not many people know what it is.
