Manchester here, January's fine for me, venue-wise Madlab (http://madlab.org.uk/) in the Northern Quarter of Manchester is a very geek-friendly place.

Previously we have always just food courted it up, but I'm willing to look at different venues if people want. Also, I'm thinking for those of us who are of age, book in at the ibis for the night and then tear it up overnight as well? Spirit/axm is always a good combo.

Food courts are fine for meetings in small groups for short periods but we may want to find somewhere better, especially if we get more interest.

Spirit is a small club that closes at about one a.m. and axm is another club that closes at about 6 a.m.

Actually, I fail. I am literally in Manchester for about 5 days in January - that would be January the 3rd - 7th.

Though I am around from tomorrow onwards till Christmas too.

NEW PLANS: I will be at the Kyoto Lounge in Manchester tomorrow, pretty much all afternoon/evening for the MLG Finals Barcraft. Any of you wonderful people want to join me? Will likely go out afterwards.

It should be noted that Kyoto Lounge was awesome. Will be back there on the 8th of April for IPL4 Barcraft, so people should come and hang out if they want to see me.
