Back in the day, the Thread Necromancy game actually involved necroing the thread from down in the dregs of FG, and one could get massive time gains in a single post, but these days, it's constantly being bumped, so how is that necromancy anyway?

This is a new version of the game that should hopefully correct that little problem. As I see it, it results from the fact that you can get credit for every minute that lapses between two posts. That's way too fine-grained for proper necroing.

Thus, in this version, the finest-grained time unit shall be one week. In other words, to calculate your time gains when you post, round down to the nearest number of weeks since the last post and add that to your score.

Everyone starts at 0. Now, just forget this thread even exists. . .
