is there an author or serial you particularly like? how do they start? do they focus more on characters, story lines, or "action"? how do their books begin? how do they end? what comes in the middle? what is it that you like about them?

well, you should start at the beginning. I mean, when trying to write, I think the key is to write something, anything down. It doesn't have to be good or interesting, it just needs to be on paper, and from there, you should be able to find a story. Of course, this is just how I do things, and won't necessarily work for you.

After writing something down, I often have someone read it. Feedback on what I have written is often helpful, even if it is hard for a little while.

Just find a bodice, and rip it.
-I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content.
-We can't go back. But I suppose we can go wherever we please.
