Option to turn off the 3D on the comics

Postby skylerABDL » Fri Apr 01, 2011 4:58 am UTC

I've been trying to look at the comics, but the new 3D thing keeps crashing my internet browser. Can we have an option to turn it on if we want it on?

I daresay you could probably wait it out until the end of april fool's day. Just go with the fun* for another 23 or so hours, yknow?

In the meantime, the 3D thing is not present on the mobile site, so you can use that if you really want, although comic 880 is also missing from that site.

WHOA, this is NOT what I posted. I don't know who changed it, but I'm pretty pissed about it.

Relax. It's Mod Madness. We do it every year around this time. There are word filters in place that affect pretty much everything. It will all be over soon. *pat pat pat*

It turns out there already is an (undocumented, Easter-egg-like) option for this: http://xkcd.com/880/#flat

Also, the aforementioned mobile site now has #880.

I'm unconvinced you're not a future spammer, and you're not discussing the topic.

Thus, no more post.
