Yes. Lots of us do. How do you pronounce it?
Having now said all three over and over again I no longer have any idea what I say. Maybe I do say them the same sometimes, but I also seem pronounce it similar to layer and player sometimes as well, I've confused myself now.

Start a recording. Talk about some random things to get you warmed up a bit, then say "They're taking their shit over there."
Maybe say it a couple of times.
Stop recording, erase all but the relevant They're bits (unless your random stuff is something you want to save) and give it a listen.
Purchase a spectrum analyzer and high quality microphone. Transduce your recording from an audio recording to a digital signal, then use a digital signal processor to compare the signals for the three words. Now you know for sure if you're saying them differently(at least that time around) at least within a margin of error.

Uhh, yeah, I kinda do that. For all of the words. My they're sounds the same as there & their, too, unless I think about what I'm saying. And I mean really, who the fuck thinks about what they're saying.
I remember that awkward age where nobody was certain of how to pronounce "drawing." It became "drawling" half the time.
tenet |ˈtenit| noun a principle or belief, esp. one of the main principles of a religion or philosophy : the tenets of classical liberalism. tenant |ˈtenənt| noun a person who occupies land or property rented from a landlord.
A lot of Navy folks had an entertaining time with people who have a slight drawl. They'd hold up pictures of a cruiser, and a chapel, and ask them to keep saying "worship, warship" until they said it "properly".

"People always pronounce my name wrong." "Cara?" "No it's pronounced Cara" (with a strange Welsh thing done to the R) "Cara?" "No, you're really bad at this aren't you?" "Ok seriously, less than 5 minutes ago I admitted to having difficulties with saying the letter R even in normal words, you shouldn't be so surprised that I can't pronounce your name properly, now your just being horwible!"
Happened last week but the mentions of R and drawer (fuck that word) reminded me of it.

A lot of people I know pronounce "ask" the same way they say "axe". It really gets on my nerves, it's not even a mis-pronounciation, it's switching the letters around. Anyone here say it like that?

ISHTST: There's no such thing as no accent. Just "a similar accent to the people around me".
