How often do you measure your weight?
Ledah wrote:So yesterday you ate nothing until dinner? That certainly can't be healthy, and it wont help you with your goals on the long term.

What are in this salad you keep complaining about?
Because really, making sure that the things you eat aren't distasteful is one of the most important things for avoiding binges - can't you add something to make it tasty? Even if it's a little fat or carbs, it's better than doing this for three months and then binge and swear never to go on a diet again.

Solt wrote:What you eat isn't that important. If you want this log to be useful, you have to also note how much and with enough details that you can calculate calories. As it is, if you can add that little extra bit of information you will have a very powerful data set here that will definitely help you lose the weight.
Also, along the same lines it would be useful if you noted the intensity of your workouts, ie, hilly vs. flat, average time per km, etc. Whether or not your level of fitness is improving could give valuable information.

Have you tried planning out your meals/snacks ahead of time?

Going rather slow now, but still going down. Doing well mostly, although very stressed and I'm getting bursts of panic-attacks if I'm left alone too long. New goal to work against: 19th of November there's a new grading and on the 20th there's the regional championsships which I intend to participate in. Well, at least I'll participate in one of them.
savanik wrote:That's pretty awesome. Losing 1 kg a month is just fine for at that weight. Sounds like you should be pretty much where you want to be by December. Have you checked to see how much fat you've got left to burn?

a donkey on the moon.
Is running shoes and what you wear really all that important?

They are for me. The shoes, at least. Asics, for example, give me absolutely horrible shin splints. However, the new balance 850 series avoids this problem so that's what I personally swear by. Non-shoes, including specialty socks and shorts/shirts, I do not put much stock in, however.

madd0ct0r wrote:also - really do try and keep eating small amounts regularly - otherwise your body ends up in starvation mode where fat is hoarded and mammoths consumed... Maybe a bowl of fruit by the computer?
