Call me crazy but cold pizza tastes better than hot pizza. Maybe it's just me but that's how I roll.

I think it depends entirely on the pizza.

I have had some pizzas that taste a lot better cold than they do hot.

Have to agree though, cold left-over pizza is one of the best breakfasts you can have in the world. Something about congealed cheese. I wouldn't dream of reheating pizza.

I always wished that one of the local restaurants in my town would make pizza the night before and have it cooled and ready for breakfast the following morning. I would love to see a diner with $1 or $2 slices on the menu along side eggs, french toast, etc.

In NYC the two buck slice is readily available. You do ave to let them cool yourself.

Hot pizza>cold pizza>reheated pizza. Reheated pizza tastes odd to me, no matter how its done. Cold pizza is way better than hot pizza for breakfast though. I do find, however, that pizza with lots of sauce gets kinda nasty tasting when its cold. So if I plan to save it, I ask for less sauce than normal.

The coagulation/pseudo crystallization of pizza cheese clearly need to be studied. Why not? rice got it's day a long while ago.

I think this follows the principal rule of most Italian-ish food: Always awesome the next day. Yesterday's Cold lasagna? awesome. Chicken Tetrazzini? bring it. Calzone? now you're talkin.
