Seagulls over Rhinosuarus Bay Part 1 - Foxy Shazam

This song is really just... so odd. I think that's the only way to describe that and Part 2.

I'm currently obsessed with Young the Giant's eponymous album. I can't get enough, and I'm afraid I'll wear it out really quickly...
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

That song is awesome. By extension you are also awesome.

I've been alternating between Jennifer Tefft's album Shift (and playing "My Own" off that one a bunch of extra times), Elis' Dark Clouds in a Perfect Sky (and playing "Der Letzte Tag" a bunch of extra times) and Skinless by Hopeful Machines (which is a side project from the dude in Ego Likeness).

Moodwise, these don't go together particularly well, and I have no idea why my brain continues to insist this is a good idea.

Yup. Admittedly, it's actually the only reason why I'm aware of the Black Sabbath version. That was actually, for the longest time, one of those "ZOMG I CAN'T FIND IT!?" songs for me, you know? I'd hear it on the radio all the time and have my little mini-orgasm because it's SUCH a fucking beautiful song, but frustratingly, I couldn't figure out the title for quite some time.

I like the original version better, though. Mainly because it's so psychedelic, which I never knew Black Sabbath to be that type of band. One of these days it's going to inspire me to go out and actually familiarize myself with their discography. :D
