Eurgh. Normally the decision on whether to start Newton or Roethlisberger would be easy - I'd just take the gamble on Newton. But I've got Steve Smith too, which means if Newton busts out this week (and I expect him to at some point, as a rookie) I'll be completely screwed, if I start him. There's no way the rest of my team can make up the difference against Lorenz's insane team of doom.

Having said that, Lorenz's insane team of doom is so crazy-good I think I have to take the risk, because if Newton busts then I'm probably going to lose anyway because Smith won't have any points, while if they both do well I could actually be in with a shot.

EDIT: Wait, it's Lorenz, not Lorentz.

This will be the week that Lorentz is beatable, but you miss out on it because of a gamble. 'Tis the way of things.

FTFY :P :P

Week one I would have lost if my opponent played their bench.

Your downfall will happen, eventually. Also, I blame Adacore for the misspelling.

Down goes Lorenz! Unless Fred Davis manages to score negative points.

Sweet! I didn't even think of playing Steve Johnson over Steve Smith, which would've locked down the game. I got so lucky this week.

If Finley and Brady are going to continue playing like that then kernelpanic's Octopus are going to start looking pretty darn scary

There's a lot of "could've"s this week... Philip Rivers only put up 4.4 points!!! 8 would've won me the game.

I forgot to even check and see what my team did this week.

Yup, terrible substitution of A. Gates on my part... Kenny Britt injured and only 2 points by turner. :(

My opponent didn't play a quarterback, and I still lost. My season looks like the freaking Vikings'.

Last week was a fluke. Once again I rise to being #1. Thank you Stafford to Megatron.

I'm on a 4 game win streak, but I'm trying to make some moves. Specifically, I'd like to trade my WR depth for some star power. I've got Roddy White, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, Marques Colston, Anquan Boldin, and Eric Decker. Everyone else on my team is on the trade block, too, except for Ray Rice. I'd rather do the negotiations through PM here, so if anyone is interested, send me a message with an offer.

I'm having some real injury trouble at the moment. My entire first-string RB corps is either injured or on a bye this week, and my TE is on a bye too, so I can't even drop my backup TE to try and add some RB depth :?

Well, I don't really feel like I'm in need of a trade right now, but take a look at my team and let me know if there's something you think it's worth considering.

I'd be open for a trade, but I'm not sure I'd survive one this weekend because of bye weeks... PM me if anyone's interested in a trade after the week's games - pretty much anyone but F. Jackson is available. If you really want Jackson, I will require 3 starting RBs and your soul.

You had nothing to fear from my assault of injury and ineptitude. I can only be saved by a massive day from both MJD and the defence he's playing. :-/

Haha, wow. Arian Foster got me 41 points yesterday. The entire rest of my team, including my bench, got like 30 points. That's amazingly pathetic.
