Well, being second I really have no choice. If I vote mpolo and he's town, Lorenz can switch and win. If he's scum, he's just going to vote me anyways.
OTOH if I vote Lorenz, it's up to mpolo. If mpolo is scum, he wins. If not though, at least we have a 50/50.

Lorenz does seem to be lurking a lot today. Not sure if that means he's scum and hoping to catch a vote he can hammer for the win, or if he's just checking the same times I am.

Well if I tried to get you to unvote me it would be scummy as well at this point: If you were town and I was scum, you switching to mpolo while I was online would be an instant win for me. Much in the same way if I switched to mpolo and you were scum, since you are online now, it would be an instant win.

You're online now, and I'm the only person I trust, so I'm not going to give you a shot at hammering a vote. Sure, it means I gotta give that shot to mpolo...but he doesn't seem to be trying so hard.

I didn't say anything about switching. Just about unvoting. If you were town, you know a vote on you is a very likely loss for town (If I'm scum, then you have a 50/50. If I'm town, you definitely lose), so I think town would have a sense of urgency to have a first vote on them be removed. Scum... not so much.

If you unvote now though, and refrain from voting, I'll go ahead an unvote as well. However, this will just put us back at square one. I still wouldn't trust you, and you wouldn't trust me, because unvoting would still be a scum move as well to try and gain some town points. NTM if mpolo comes in and votes, we're also back to where we are now...simply waiting on the 3rd person. I say we just get this mess over with..but that might be because the mess is my fault and I just wanna get past it:(

anyways, scum has the exact same reason to want to have a first vote removed from them: Any votes on them is an easy loss as well.

I would even like to point out that the last time someone was not significantly against a vote on them, they were town.

Indeed. With so little for town to go on, it made it very easy for us to target each other.

I kinda like the idea of no roles, and/or changing scum....but something else needs to be given to town to offset the scums ability to manipulate, and pretty much automatically win if town ever starts to go at eachother.

Dang! Just read the discussions, and yea...seems I killed a shot at winning:(

Lorenz was planning to change over to Lataro, and as I said: I was just starting to suspect him as well for the sudden absence. While the wine and such is very normal for him, his disappearance was very odd.

My disappearance was completely unrelated. I had my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. When I felt well enough to come back, you had all gone and lynched GL already, I was expecting more challenge.

The three way argument didn't last very long. Everyone was on edge, and the slightest bit of weird behaviour was picked up on. Lorenz decides on a course of action decided by a flip of a coin, and accuses Zemerick of being the Thing. Zemerick, in turn, accuses Lorenz. The Thing just laughs, picks up the gun, and promptly shoots Lorenz in the head. Zemerick turns to mpolo, wondering whats going to happen next. Mpolo smiles, then fires the last bullet into Zemerick.

One day later, the supply helicopter arrives......
