I love xkcd, I think it's fun, creative, and sometimes reading my mind! Some day, I can't wait for a new strip. I looked at my favorite ones and got inspired to make my own xkcd-styled comic. They don't actually fit in as xkcdsw, just something random in my mind. And I want to share them with you here.

This is inspired by the Commitment strip

The EGE: thanks for your feedback. For me, the x axis is the observation number, observation number 1, 2, 3, etc... I thought it didn't add much and left it out, but you brought up a good point. I probably should make something where both axes make sense.

It's bothering me that this is a scatter plot with no x-axis. So it really should be a linear scatter plot... Although I don't think that would look as visually appealing.

You remind me of the early xkcd. The only thing I would change for now is to watch the positioning of the figures (positional switches can be confusing) and to start left-side (e.g. mark the text order more clearly).

Though I have to express my dissatisfaction with the Relation-Ship, even though it's a nice idea. Why? Well that one just BEGS for a Horatio move. You even have shades in there.

Conclusion: I like your ideas a lot, and over time, you'll get more sophisticated.

Hey I just saw this thread, and I really like some of these! The love transitivity one and the wedding invitation one were probably my favorites. The most recent one is very perceptive too--people always assume that "cute old couples" have been together for decades, but assumptions can sometimes be wrong.

I think the old couple means "dining" hall, though maybe "dinning" hall is where the seniors head-bang to Metallica after Bingo!
