Yeah I got recruited night 1, greenlover got recruited night 2, which in combination with the lynch of Silknor on day 2, meant that there were no nightkills. That's not easy, because with people avoiding using actions on odd nights, and the general feeling that mpolo might be the cult leader, we never got more recruits, either, so it was basically 3 vs 4 with no nightkills and two of the four basically being confirmed. We still could have won if bantler had used an action night 3.
I could have tried to be more persuasive on lynching bantler, but once he was copped as town, the game was over.
I feel like the exorcist claim was a necessary and reasonably obvious move to make - we couldn't afford another confirmed townie. If FAOT got lynched, I would have been lynched the next day, but at that stage of the game exorcist for vanilla cult was a good trade for us, especially as I felt mpolo was going to be lynched soon and that would have taken the focus off him.
So well done to bantler for acting townie enough and to the cops for avoiding getting recruited. Maybe I shouldn't have tried to paint/nightkill on night 1, but if those two actions had gone through (paint Boomfrog, kill Lorenz), mafia would have been a good position. Instead, mpolo got lucky in picking me to redirect, Silknor got lynched the next day and greenlover targetted mpolo the next night, so mafia was gone and there were no nightkills. If there were nightkills and the game lasted anywhere near seven days, scum would have won.
And yes FAOT, I had obviously given up by that point, but it was a matter of pride to get you lynched before I did.
