Food help, please. :(

I've got to go to a work christmas party tomorrow, which is a potluck.

I delayed emailing back, so I'm now expected to bring one of three entrees.

The other two entrees are Lasagna and Pulled Pork.

What is there that I can buy that would fit in with this?

I can make it to, but it'd have to be pretty simple as my Apprentice/Journeyman cooking skills are a limiting factor.

Suggestions?

jam/chilli sauce meatballs. Only thing you need is a crockpot.

I do it with two pounds of meatballs, a bottle of Hienz chilli sauce and a can of jellied cranberry sauce. YMMV

In the US the term entree refers to your main course. Horse doovers we call appetizers or starters, and for some reason I don't understand, we have the salad before the entree. The reason for this is that eating entrees as lunch meals became pretty common in the mid 20th, and the habit of serving entrees on the same plate as a the main course, i.e. Surf & Turf.

If I win the lottery, which would be extra special since I don't play, I will invest the money into a restaurant that runs a modernized five-course dinner service. People will get their salad after their main and fucking like it.

Get a pork shoulder, rub it with slat, garlic, onion powder, paprika.... put it in at about 180-220F overnight.

have fun witht the vinegar for the sauce after it's cooked.
