Ho ho ho, it's that time of year again folks! It is the season for sharing and giving, and by that I do of course mean killing and lynching. Yes, the quiet old town of Xkcdia is once again under assault from the forces of evil. But with the holiday season having driven the townspeople even nuttier than usual, can Xkcdia be defended? And more importantly, can Christmas be saved?

The Setup:
Every player sends in a role, which is then randomly assigned to another player. The Mod decides on what alignment each role should have, and alters it if necessary to maintain game balance.

The Details:
The game will be technically be a turbo (as the slot's empty), but because it's the holidays the days will actually be fairly long. To stop it completely dragging, it will be a nightless setup, with a short instant-night phase following each day in which most actions will take place. The game will be non-bastard in the sense that I will be an impartial mod, but players are free to send in bastard roles so long as they're actually playable.

Description: You are the Christmas Postman! Most posties hate the workload at this time of year, but not you! I mean sure, it's a bit of a handful delivering all these letters, and you get confused at times. But delivering christmas cards makes up for all of that! Each day, you can choose another player to deliver a christmas card to. That night, the player will recieve a message informing them that you are The Christmas Postman.
Mechanics: When the role-holder targets a player, that player is informed that the role-holder is The Christmas Postman. Unknown to the postman, however, they will get confused and accidentally deliver a personal letter instead of a christmas card. Therefore, in addition to the role confirmation, the targeted player will also recieve a random message from a private chat (scum, mason etc.) that occured during the previous day.

You get the idea anyway - I'm sure you can come up with better roles!

Welcome to magic school. My name is Vlad, and I am here to teach you the basics of magic. Put simply, I will teach each of you the basics of each of the elements: Water, Fire, Lightning, Earth, Cold, Shield, Arcane, and Life. This first lesson will be simple: I want you to cast a spell using each of these elements. There will be no need to combine the elements yet, that will come in a later lesson. Impress me with your ability to wield the elements!

Also available are house points, which constitute a secondary win condition - Whichever house has the most points at the end of the game has an additional win. Each house also has a power associated with it. At night, the house can vote on which member will carry out this action. Gryffindor has a Roleblock action. Hufflepuff have a doctor action. Ravenclaw have a combined watcher/tracker action. Slytherin have a cop action.

Scum may have powers, depending on the game size. Scum may be part of any house.Scum will only have night chat between each other, but will still have mason chat with their housemates.

House Points: The following will earn house points:
You will earn 1 point per post you make. Double posts will be counted as 1 post. Simple one liners saying 'I will post later' will not count. Post must contain content relevant to the game. All points will be decided by the mods, so any attempts to inflate your score using trickery will first be met with points penalties, and maybe a modkill if it is serious. So no tactics such as 2 people continually posting one after each other. This rule is in place to encourage posting, not to spam the game.
You will earn 3 points for having a vote on at the end of the day.
You will earn 5 points at the beginning of the day if you had a vote on scum and they were lynched.
House points will be shown at the same time Votals are shown.
