You wanted to catch light with a high-speed camera? A trillion fps should do the trick:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtsXgODHMWk
Spoiler:
I know this isn't a trillion frames in the usual sense, since it uses a composition of several identical setups, but the application and result are in no way less impressive.

Was the dialogue supposed to be that... uncanny valley-ish? Because that acting felt like it came from a bad 90's video game.

I mean, it seems pretty plain to me it was deliberate. I can't imagine the author sitting there writing that dialogue and genuinely thinking it made any sense.

I could be wrong.

came from a bad 90's video game.

Actually, I seem to recall reading somewhere that he models his stuff a lot after b-movies and b-grade video games. So, yeah. (Consider Manborg.)

More serious, but this one I enjoyed quite a lot. (Er, also NSFW probably.)

This is why we can't have nice stuff.
I'm not usually a fan of this sort of game (fps's primarily aimed at multiplayer) but this one seems quirky enough to actually be fun.

Russia Today is a news channel I found on YouTube. It's like, actually informative. Their reporters ask their guests questions, and actually let them answer them. And it's intelligent conversation, too! o_O

A video from November 2011: Description: "The US is like a drunkard who charges to war with anyone who might pose a threat, ex-Senator and former US presidential candidate Mike Gravel says." Gravel: "The best way to solve the problem with Iran is leave 'em alone."

Try running this on the largest screen you have and then go about what ever it is you were doing.
