The bad thing about graffiti at my school is that it gets taken away over night. The other day I was trying to have a good game of tic-tac-toe and ended up with a blank stall wall the next day.

My friend and I will type up random demotivational quotes and tape them to the walls around my school. They last on average about 3 hours.

My school's stalls are very depressing. It's plain blueish green, and the only graffiti is a huge "FU" carved into one side.

Our school has been freaking about graffiti this year, and whenever something appears they close the bathrooms for days at a time and paint over them. So I responded with and essay about how graffiti in a high school is a fact of life, and they shouldn't try to fight it; with sharpie, on the bathroom wall.

I started a discussion about how PC should mean "a computer for personal use" rather than "a computer for personal use that isn't made by Apple".

Someone said that it was a marketing ploy, since IBM claimed the term "PC" and Apple didn't want to be confused with IBM.

Then someone else backed me up, with a giant Wikipedia quote.

My original Venn diagram of how Macs are PCs is still there. The graffiti probably only gets cleaned every summer or so. I write in pencil, in case they ask me to clean it.

Late in the year, someone drew a large red swastika, which I promptly turned into a binary sudoku puzzle. I wanted to take pictures, but there's something creepy about taking a camera into a bathroom, even into the one you use. My camera phone is made of proprietary software and failure, and it does not want to talk to my computer to upload pictures.

I thought that my chem teacher this year had made it up until I Googled it. He was pretty proud of it, too. Except it read 'Alas, poor Billy, for Billy is no more, for what he thought was H2O, was H2SO4'.

In the R.E. department's toilets (which pretty much all the students will use in one lesson in order to just get out of a few minutes of R.E.) there was a fairly indepth discussion about the meaning of life, until the cleaners got to it. A few weeks later, it was replaced by the standard 'u smell', 'no, u smell', 'no, people who spell you as 'u' smell'.
I'm thinking of doing as someone mentioned before, and starting a pi train.

I was bored in Spanish once, so I drew a geometry problem inside the pencil-holder-notch-thing in the desk. Some time next year I want to go back and see if anyone solved it

I usually do this on desks when in language/literature analysis when I want to be contrary:

1. \lim_{x \to 0}{x^0} = 1
2. \lim_{x \to 0}{0^x} = 0
0^0 is problematic.

Bit of a necro, but it's related.

Every time you see a yawnfest unoriginal "x waz/was/wuz/wus/etc here" written on a wall, you can improve it by writing this under it:

"GARY OAK WAS HERE FIRST!"

My friend told me this, and I think it's great. You can adapt it to just about any uninspired graffiti.

"i fuked ur mom"

"Gary Oak fucked your mom first!"

And so on.

I recall as an undergrad at UBC seeing this on a bathroom stall, probably either in the math, physics or chem building:
"Semipermeable toilet paper is the shits."
It's as eloquent (and apropos) a protest against the ineffective onionskin with which we were supposed to wipe our butts as any I've heard since.

The best graffiti I ever saw was in a bathroom at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Someone wrote:

"Have you tried virtual reality?"

Someone else replied:

"I'm not sure."

(This would have been early 1990s.)

On the wall of my favorite stall at my college was written something to the effect of, "Bathroom graffiti artists write neither for monetary reward nor for fame/recognition; therefore, bathroom graffiti is the purest form of art. Discuss."
The response: "The pursuit of fame, fortune, and the like are an integral part of the human condition and a form of art that ignores these two aspects of life can never truly reflect humanity and therefore will never be a pure form of art."

I went back a couple months later and it had all been bleached away. I responded by engaging in my first ever act of bathroom graffiti and writing, "We shall not be silenced."

Although my school is supposed to be full of smart people, the bathrooms are in an incredibly dilapidated state and the grafitti is badly scripted and of poor content (the normal filth, if you will). The smartest quote I've ever seen was "If god is omnipotent can he create a stone so heavy that he cannot lift it?" It was then followed by someone else scribbling "DUMB!"

I have, on occasion, having given up on our bathrooms, replied to idiotic grafitti in an intellectual manner.

Once in a grocery supermarket I started inscribing Egyptian Heiroglyphics onto the filthy walls. I will have to do that on larger scale sometime.

I remember taking a dump during the bathroom break for the SAT or ACT at OSU. Covering the door and most of a wall is a discussion on which angle you should aim your anus to minimize splash-back. In a different building there, I saw the following poetry.

As long as you start in the middle, and they don't do a diagonal, you can always win.

But, if you're playing a player who's reached the "you'll always tie" phase, they'll go for the diagonal and you'll tie. The only way to win is to play a bad player and hope they don't do the right things by accident.
