The best thing about university is drinking on weeknights. That and learning stuff, but right now it's mostly the wine. Also living in Italy is awesome because wine is cheap.

I'm not that drunk, it's cold outside, and it took a while to get home, but it should still count because, I'm surely over the legal limit. We just planned on playing pool which just us 2 guys.
Later a girl joined though, and it turned out to be a €120,- night of pool, on a monday evening! Afterwards we went to watch tv at the neighbour.
And then half sober, -15 degrees, on my sisters bike, because mine is broke down, with a girl on the backseat. 10 km's ride home.
I never had it cold

Batch #30, 59.8%, bottled in 2010.
Excellent taste by the way.

I think #32 is my favorite, but I have never had #30. I just bought a bottle of #39 Saturday, haven't tried it yet. I've seen some older ones in the early(<30) ranges at quite a price online, which prohibits me from trying them.

I've had a 26 (I think) and a 30, but never a chance to taste them side-by-side. So I wouldn't know which one I prefer, but I think you can buy each of them blindly, to be honest.

Oh definitely. They are always just about the most sherried scotchs on the market, so if your into that, you can't go wrong. Just some of the undertones change (i.e. chocolate, caramel, raisin).

I tried to post in here last night (I remembered this thread's existence in my post-party drunkenness, oddly enough), but I couldn't get my computer open and ended up falling asleep in my chair.

Surprising day today: I've not been sober all day, yet I've been nice and productive: Got a few tattoo designs sketched down, took down the details for a few good looking jobs and repaired a coat for a friend who payed me to do it. Sweet!

My night was beyond disappointing.
I love dancing. To (almost) anything. My preferences are indie-rock/pop-rock/pop.
Went out with friends to a new location tonight, fully expecting there to be dancing (as this is what I was told would happen).
Ended up chatting with friends for about 3 hours while drinking and smoking etc etc, then eventually went into the dancey bar. Friends waited outside to suss out if they had to pay in or not. They didn't. One friend went back out to tell the others all was cool and they could just stroll in. Waited about 20mins, no sign of friends. I went back outside, our friends had got more drinks and were still smoking, I made a joke of me and other friend waiting inside for everyone. So 2 friends (a couple) came inside with me...
We got ONE song - In fairness, it was One Direction "That's What Makes You Beautiful" which is an awesome song and I will not have anybody say otherwise.
But when I was dressed for and expecting a night full of dancing it was quite the disappointment. Especially after Ireland had one a rugby game in the 6 Nations and there's usually a really good buzz when that happens.
Unimpressed.

So I can tell the girl that came over to me, which I somewhat have a crush on, despite her having avery lame boyfriend who was there two things:
1 - Your boyfriend pulled you away just in time, 'cause you were pretty drunk
2 - Your lame boyfriend pulled you away too soon, we all had loads of fun afterwards
Both are true. Hmmm....

So at some point they change the rules such that Nobel Prizes can be given posthumously?

Nehpest will be driving to the awards ceremony when this happens, and his son has to give the speech in his absence, completely unaware about his father's fate. The funeral will be a small one, comprised mostly of immediate family members and close friends. Strawberry cake will be served.

Whiskey from a flask while writing an application. Its not a serious application, well, it has serious questions, but I did those while sober. Now its time for the fun quiestions. And drinks.

oK, Kids: drinking while cleaning is bad. Why? You will find some cleaning poruduct you need but don't have, and after an hour of the cleaning drinking game (find dish in office? drink. find cup in bedroom? drink. remove smellyh food from dfridge? drink. etc etc) you will not be able to drive to the store in youyr inebrate state. It does, jhoweve, make the housework more fujn.
