May I ask where you plan to be around 6pm this evening?

Will you have eaten by that time? If not, we can always hold off on food until you arrive.

Assume that I have eaten. I will not have time to have a full meal with you, so I shall be content to drink a couple of drinks and chew the fat for an hour-and-a-half, or so.

Okay, if anyone's still checking the fora, I'm going to be a little bit late, possibly not arriving until nearly 6pm. I'm also texting Teapot and Amy to let them know this.

OOPS: turns out I don't have Amy's number and can't find it quickly in my logs, so just Teapot will have to do.

Look yeah, I expect anyone who is near Glasgow and a fan of awesome midlands (not really) kids with insane-massive-super-awesome-bastardly-unfair-music talent to be at a friend's gig tomorrow. My friends are the special guests Tom Clarke and Natalie Holmes, and seriously, awesome. Both he and she have albums.

The dates I could come up to visit are currently between the 3rd and the 8th, though this could narrow.

Right, I'll probably be dragging my bf around for some of this - he requests that if this turns into a just sitting around affair, he has the chance to walk around every so often to prevent his legs from cramping too much (he's planning on running the marathon that day).

Definitely! My bf is going to get to where he needs to be for about 9.30, and the marathon starts at 10. He thinks it will take 4-4.5 hours. So I have all that time by myself :(

Depending on what/when we do, he'll probably meet up with us at some point.

First Edinburgh meetup was at the Museum, and it's reopened now so might be worth a wander round for a while? I've not been in since everything was refurbished, and it's an easy enough place to find (and hopefully find folks in?).
Any other suggestions?

Museum sounds good to me. I went in for a quick wander last time I was there, but I was pretty tired by that point.

I have been noticing a lot of faces around here with the Scotland tag, then I remembered the meatspace was a thing. For the record, I am in if we want to make this happen.
