Trying to upgrade a old PS3 Hard Drive.

I think this will do. My PS3 is a super old 60 GB model so I think all I have to worry about is the right size. This seems like a good buy. Please tell me if this would work.

As far as I can determine, it should work fine. PS3s do (or did, and I can't find any report of it being solved) have some issues with newer drives with 4KB sectors, so that's something to watch for, but that particular drive still uses the older 512B sectors and ought to be okay.

Should work fine, but check that it physically fits (I guess there's a little variability in 2.5" drive size?). As I understand it, that's the biggest problem.

let me know if it works. Go damn GT5 wants 20GB and MLB12 just asked for over 10. I too have the launch model.

Finally got the part today after a long debacle. It worked flawlessly. I even used the 750GB DH no problem. I'd suggest getting PS+ first the clouds the only way to transfer most saves.
