It was a dark and stormy night.

In an old tumble-down cabin deep within the woods of Xkcdia, they gathered. Angered by the past and fearful of the future, they knew that they would not be able to hide from the world for much longer. The peace would not last.

The wind howled and the clouds parted. For a brief moment, the full moon shone bright in the sky, it's mystical light streaming through the cabin windows and illuminating the figure in the far-corner of the room.

With a low growl, their leader finally spoke:

"It is time."

Not that I want to jinx it, but signups seem to be going quite quickly for werewolf. I hope the game itself is as active.

Lataro Runs 2of4

With so many crazy games running now, and so many new faces, I decided that a nice simple game needed running. I was gonna run C9, then got the link to F11, then saw 2of4, which is the latest attempt to make a balanced newbie friendly game.

The details on 2of4 are located here: http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=2of4

The setup will be one of the six possible ones listed there, as outlined.

Game days will last a week or so, depending on the needs of the game, since this is a newbie friendly game, deadlines may be extended if requested for a good reason. Nights will last a few days.

I am going to ask more experienced players to either sign up as replacements, or give this game a week or so to otherwise fill. There will be no hard rule in place here, I am looking to make a fairly straight forward and balanced game for the newer folks around here. If this game draws a lot of interest, I'd be willing to do an additional running of it after this one concludes if no one else is using the vanilla slot still.

If anyone is interested in getting into modding, and would like to co-mod this with me, I'd appreciate it. I'd ask though that whoever wants to do this, that they have completed at least a couple games here already to see how we do things. I don't anticipate this gaming being hard for me to run alone, my searching for a co-mod is primarily to help someone else get into modding here if they are interested. I don't plan to do much in the way of flavor for this game, and in addition to assisting with action processing, I'd be more than willing to let the other person handle all the flavor stuff. Google doc account is a must. PM me if interested. I'll be taking the first person who does so, in the interest of fairness.

Thanks for all the signups guys! Werewolf will begin sometime over the next day or so. In the meantime, if you are new to these forums, you should make a few posts on some boards where your postcount increases (eg. General Discussion). This will allow you to get around the need for post validation, and your posts in this forum will appear instantly when you submit them.

Yeah, I don't care if it's out of context, it massages my ego and so it stays.

Sign Ups:
1. Carey
2. wam
3. Snark (Hey! I'm a newbie. Read about 20 old games though.)
4. KrO2 (I guess I'll give this a try.)
5. fearless
6.
7.
8.
9.

Replacements:
1.Tim
2.
3.
4.
5.

Since signups have slowed, I'm going to go ahead and call open season on this game. If your interested, experienced or new, go for it. Not sure if Timmy wants to stay a replacement or only signed up as one because I asked. If this fills quickly (less than 24 hours), the last signup may be swapped with him to replacement if he doesn't say otherwise.
DS9, after being told the story and moral of the boy who cried wolf by Julian.

Garak: "Are you sure that's the moral?"
Julian: "Of course. What else could it be?"
Garak: "Never tell the same lie twice."
