I'm happy, in a way I didn't expect. I decided to go to the conservatory after all. After years of saying I didn't want to. Music just makes me happy, it feeds me, it's part of me, I love making it, listening to it, making it with other people.
I'm falling in love again, after months of having nothingness inside of me. There was just nothing going on, my emotional life was just shut down after taking a beating, I guess, but now I'm back. If you want to, can read this and that to get up to date.
I'm employed, live with my mother, pay rent, cope with money, hang out with friends, living my life. So there.
I guess you could say I'm good.
How are you?

I'm now picturing felltir being busy dodging RPGs as he goes about his work, which would be pretty awesome.

Only if they're aiming at his feet. If they're flying parallel to the ground then the explosions probably won't be anywhere near him.

Yo, hi. My cousin, who has cerebral palsy and can't walk, will (hopefully) be getting life-changing SDR surgery in St. Louis, MO to enable him to walk!

But my mum's side of the family are pretty brassic at the mo', and need £45,000 ($72,000), and THUSLY are looking for donations. TEMPTED? I thought so! They've made a campaign page, which is so Web 1.0 it hurts - http://www.jacksdream.com - and also a sweeeet YouTube video. How many give-us-money-so-we-can-save-a-child's-life-well-sort-of can you think of that incorporates Guns n' Roses music?

NONE. That's how many.

So give over your money, chumps!

I mean... kind and caring human beings with more than a shrivelled sliver of a soul

Also, Jack's a very sweet kid and despite his spasticity, he beat me at Jenga last time we played. And I have the steadiest hand in the Lower East Side, which incidentally makes me the luckiest guy.

Hey Felstaff, have you guys considered setting up a JustGiving page?
I don't know if they charge any amount for it (I can't see that they would, but I don't know) - but it's a much simpler process for a lot of people to donate by card than doing a bank transfer.

That website raised a smile and if I wasn't currently raising money for a charitable cause (linked in my sig) close to my own heart, I'd be donating much more than I'm going to.
I hope the money gets raised - keep us informed :)

edit: totally just noticed the paypal link on the 'donate' page - must have missed it in with the colourful background the first time around ;)

Thanks to a couple rounds of actual Jenga and then a game of Dread a couple weekends ago, I discovered I'm actually pretty good at Jenga.

Therefore, if ever we meet again in meatspace, I will challenge you to a round of Jenga!

Go to the sound control pannel, voice, then voice recording > volume. Select the input your mic is on. If need be, enable advanced controls, then use them and tick audio boost.
