Fleeting thoughts:
Spoiler:
Numbers go up to 26, so transcribe into letters.
Code: Select all
o  --> h  z --> d a --> e d --> u
15 --> 8 26 --> 4 1 --> 5 4 --> 21.

No obvious pattern here. Will review later.

Shouldn't that 20 be an 18?

I agree.
Spoiler:
If the 20 is replaced by an 18, and the order of the numbers in each group is reversed, and a suitable substitution of letters for numbers is made, we get `you did well to decode this cryptic rhyme now get some rest and you won't go there this time' which makes a kind of sense, I guess.

Now that that one has been solved (Bravo sfwc), here's a new one:

1 123121214112 22214133121111111112211111122 13111321122 1343 2211311511 32113 134161161211111131 341 1512111 133112121212111324 2112221111

Major kudos to anyone who can figure out how I encoded it, given the original message below. Ridiculously major kudos if you can decode it without looking at my solution below first.

Spoiler:
A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men
