You see no more crates.

As you pull the crate apart by using the E-Z-TEAR cord securing it, four Laser Pistol Bodies and four Series 1300 PDC's fall out.

I'm not sure, why don't you investigate? (also, please note bodies is just the plural of body, not anything to do with dead people...) Welcome to paranoia!

Oh and a PDC is a small wrist-sized band with a screen on it. that's all you can see from looking at it.

I guess I will take one of the PDCs and a laser pistol body, and check out the laser pistol body and PDC to figure out what they are and what they do.

We just found this crate with our supplies in it and are almost ready to visit room 66-22-1/A for the rest of our equipment. I do have one small question though. Have we missed some of the laser pistols, or do you only want four people outfitted with Laser Pistols? Also, we could use your benevolent assistance in deciding how to distribute the equipment we have. How would you prefer we organize ourselves?"

The laser body appears to be a weapon of the sort carried by other troubleshooters you have seen. It has no barrel which you presume means it is unlikely to fire very well.

the PDC is a screen with buttons that could strap to your wrist. Currently it is displaying the symbol of the computer.

For reporting potentially stolen Computer property, you are awarded 25 credits and a commendation. For attempting to steal Computer property, the team is fined 50 credits each.

You should take these items with you to warehouse 6A and hand them in. I have informed the agent on duty that you will be authorized to be issued the equipment required for your mission.

I respond "Thank you computer for informing us of our error and being so lenient, we never meant to steal that which is yours, it was our fault for mis-understanding the label on the plasticrate, I shall fix this mistake as soon as possible." and then collect all the things from the crate, and rush off to warehouse 6-A, following the Computer's directions, running to the end of this corridor, turning left and then dashing along the third corridor on the right.

As you turn into the green corridor on the right, you see the entrance to warehouse 6A. It's more like a lock up double garage than a warehouse, the metal shutter is up but the place seems deserted.

You look but see no one. there are crates of various hues scattered about the space. There is a desk with a computer terminal and a stack of papers on it.


NOTE - DMING ended for the night, I'm afraid I have an early morning meeting and it's midnight here now. I'll continue when I get the chance but don't expect much before tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. (I hope you're all okay with the casual speed of this)

The papers turn out to be forms for the issue of equipment to troubleshooters.

Mysteriously, the forms have been pre-signed, with the name and mission fields left blank.

Each form has the following listed authorised equipment.

1 x Laser Pistol body
2 x RED Laser Pistol Barrels
1 x RED Reflec armor
1 x Series 1300 PDC

There appear to be a large stack of these, all signed by BILLIE-G-OAT.

The room is silent, except for someone whispering. yes, pming people is perfectly legal, in a tabletop game you're allowed to pass notes provided you'd be able to do so physically in the game (via a communicator or whispering).

While Computer processes this new information, we will have to decide our actions by ourselves. Obviously, there are two possibilities. Either PAZ-O-VER is traitorous scum trying to cause chaos and confusion in our team, or BAK-R-BOY is an inept dunce for leading us here, and ought to be removed from his position and replaced by his deputy team leader. I suggest that we seek out PAZ to learn more about him, and that we temporarily demote BAK to "Back Massage and Spill Cleanup Officer" until we are more certain of PAZ's motives.
