I'm good here, for now... If you get sick of waiting, put me on the "playing" list. I like playing a younger variant of Yoda.

Some of the players in Werewolf appear not to have visited the forums since signing up, so I will most likely be needing replacements in the near future. Sign up if interested.

It was a dark and stormy night.

In an old tumble-down cabin deep within the woods of Xkcdia, they gathered. Angered by the past and fearful of the future, they knew that they would not be able to hide from the world for much longer. The peace would not last.

The wind howled and the clouds parted. For a brief moment, the full moon shone bright in the sky, it's mystical light streaming through the cabin windows and illuminating the figure in the far-corner of the room.

With a low growl, their leader finally spoke:

"It is time."

WEREWOLF

Type: Normal
Setup: Closed
Bastardry: Non-bastard
Player Numbers: Preferably around 20. If numbers fall short, an alternative closed non-bastard game with standard flavour will be run instead.

Replacements:
1. fearless (fearNOT!)
2. Krong (a tag-team hero in his own mind)
3.

I'd like to sign up for the Fallout Mafia, on condition that there are Fancy Lads snack cakes involved.

Lataro Runs 2of4

With so many crazy games running now, and so many new faces, I decided that a nice simple game needed running. I was gonna run C9, then got the link to F11, then saw 2of4, which is the latest attempt to make a balanced newbie friendly game.

The details on 2of4 are located here: http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=2of4

The setup will be one of the six possible ones listed there, as outlined.

Game days will last a week or so, depending on the needs of the game, since this is a newbie friendly game, deadlines may be extended if requested for a good reason. Nights will last a few days.

I am going to ask more experienced players to either sign up as replacements, or give this game a week or so to otherwise fill. There will be no hard rule in place here, I am looking to make a fairly straight forward and balanced game for the newer folks around here. If this game draws a lot of interest, I'd be willing to do an additional running of it after this one concludes if no one else is using the vanilla slot still.

If anyone is interested in getting into modding, and would like to co-mod this with me, I'd appreciate it. I'd ask though that whoever wants to do this, that they have completed at least a couple games here already to see how we do things. I don't anticipate this gaming being hard for me to run alone, my searching for a co-mod is primarily to help someone else get into modding here if they are interested. I don't plan to do much in the way of flavor for this game, and in addition to assisting with action processing, I'd be more than willing to let the other person handle all the flavor stuff. Google doc account is a must. PM me if interested. I'll be taking the first person who does so, in the interest of fairness.

Sign Ups:
1. Carey
2. wam
3. Snark (Hey! I'm a newbie. Read about 20 old games though.)
4. KrO2 (I guess I'll give this a try.)
5. fearless
6. mostlynormal (Yay, a nice simple game)
7. wingedocelot (game #1)
8.
9.

Pretty closed setup-wise. Low-to-none on the bastardry scale. Hard deadlines will be set for each day and night. The game will start when Firefly Mafia is finished and the number of signups reaches what I deem to be an appropriate amount.

7.
8.
9.

Replacements:
1.Tim
2.
3.
4.
5.

If there is no further interest here, I will be cancelling this game. Any takers?

Seems a shame to risk cancellation. Force Tim to play? Also I know of somebody else who's tried to sign up but it's her first post so probably in the 'pending approval' pipeline

I looked over Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Mafia and just don't think I can keep up without having some flavor knowledge.

Cue greenlover proudly coming in soon, claiming he plays a lot of games without flavour knowledge

But yeah, it's very well possible. I hell don't know it either, and I'm going to play it still...

I appreciate y'alls support, and if the game's sign-up gets stalled just below 17, I may hop back in. Otherwise, I'm gonna try not to join every single game that goes into sign-ups. Gonna try to get myself under control before a need for a Mafia-Addict's Anonymous becomes apparent. :)

Woah, woah, woah. Don't not play because you don't have flavour knowledge. Watch the AWESOME movie because it's an awesome movie. Side effect - you discover flavour knowledge! And can play! Yayyyyy.

But seriously, flavour knowledge is not essential, but it may help rolespec is all.

I would certainly recommend signing up as a replacement for Lataro's 2 of 4 game.

I don't know how simple Misnomer's Werewolf is, regarding the replacement he needs for that.
It might be best to avoid my Snatch game, as it's going to have some non-standard roles in it - but if you feel up for a challenge, feel free to enrol :)
