Werewolves
Spoiler:
Snark is a protector role it seems. Presumably town. I was hoping he'd come up vampire.

Still, good for krong, as it means we don't have to sacrifice him at some point.

Fallout Mafia
Spoiler:
First of all, town is playing pretty poorly here. When you have a lynch candidate that is most popular from early D1 to the end of the day then your pretty much guaranteed that scum is happy with that lynch. Also, that very late start to trading helped scum a lot as there are some target's who have obviously not had a chance to use up their items.

Also, I'm glad no one took speech because it's looking like it's going to be completely useless. Notes for Fallout Mafia 2:

Buff stealth, it got nerfed too hard.
Buff speech (one-shot public vote control?)
Allow crafting at night.
Separate the lynch deadline and trading deadline? (24 hours to trade after the lynch?)
Simplify trading, there's been a lot of confusion.
Eliminate the lottery? (I expect it to be rarely actually used, but it's existence does encourage the behavior that I want which is the lynchee giving away all his stuff)
Take out spiked glove and make unarmed skill base 2 damage.

Crazy ideas:
Super mutants, ghouls, food needed each day, radiation poisoning, Greedy Survivor (must survive and have X value of stuff at the end to win), publicly known skills, redirection energy shield, poisons.
If your afraid of the terrorists winning then the terrorists win.

Activity has been really low lately, what's up with that? (Or is it my imagination?)

I think we may be hitting saturation point with the number of games currently running and in sign-ups (plus we're about to add another medium to the sign-up thread). Maybe now would be a good time to cut down the game setups? I'm thinking replace the 6 large/medium/small/micro with 2 Large (>16), 2 Medium (8-16), and 1 small (<10). Leaving Turbo and Vanilla as they are.

If that's too dramatic of a change, maybe just bump down the number of players for medium/large a bit - instead of medium being 13-20 make it 12-18. Thoughts?

Basically, I wanna play Snatch! :)

Evil Auction:
Spoiler:
I feel bad about the lack of activity Lataro. If I was town I might be making more of an effort to find scum. Right now I just want to avoid getting lynched myself and get it over with.

As an explanation for my actions for the folks scratching their heads at home, yes, fearless is my scumbuddy and yes, I am voting for her. I happen to know that she has plenty of energy to survive the lynch. When she does, we will kill mpolo during the night, proceed to claim scum tommorrow and lynch our way to victory with the help of the survivor (that must be TMG, right? I had Silknor pegged for a while but I keep forgetting that T1mm voted for Groucho, so LC couldn't have it).

12 is a really good size for a game, I don't want to change the definition of small. Basically whats going on now is just that we really don't have the populations to do two larges at once (even if you redefine them as 16+). I would be happy to redefine medium as 16max instead of 20 max so this doesn't happen again. Maybe "grandfather" the current mediums in the queue to have 20 max if the moderators really want to.

What would really help stabilize things is have some sort of total living players max that cannot be exceeded and when that stat dies down then a new game can go into sign-ups. That take a lot more direct management to work though and so it's probably a bad idea.

Vaguely related note: speed hammering as scum is a lot more difficult than I thought, especially when you're time zones don't sync. It's lucky I happened to get home while the captain was online, otherwise this could have lasted a whole.

That's fine, though I feel the urge to point out that under the current system only 1 game (small) can be 12 players, and under my proposed plan 2 games (medium) could be 12 players.

So I think there's really no downside to redefining medium. 20 players is arbitrary, and it's really easy to change. How about everyone just say what they think is a good cutoff between medium and large (16, 18, 20), and then we just change the pre-signup queue if needed.

Werewolf and Fallout:
Spoiler:
I'm sensing a trend where we're not allowed to suspect people based on actions, instead we're only allowed to suspect people based on content. I'm of the opinion that's a crappy way to play. Snark in Werewolf and Chickenfish in Fallout had valid points against fearless and t1mm respectively based on the NK, more valid IMO than "you're talking a lot and I don't agree with you", which is pretty much how all lynches seem to go down.

And if mafia does start framing people, then first, it means mafia isn't NKing who they would normally prefer to kill, and second, town can start considering that mafia might be framing a townie. But I don't think I've seen an obvious case of that yet on this forum.

It's why I like Resistance, I think. No lynches, lots of data.

Right so having just caught up on the choas that was werewolves yesterday Adam H is scum. As a town cop, I only get told whether a player is evil or not. Argh I came so close to not being lynched. And the most annoying thing is the post taht made everyone think I was scummy was an honest mistake, I actually did get the games confused. Also Matt I was never going to suicide it. I was hoping people thought I would do it, leading to a NL, giving us an extra kill. Then try and blame forgetting the dealine and spread more wine. I had alos figured the odds of me getting lynched were really high so I might as well try and divert all attention from matt.

I did love tims comment that there was far to much bussing and risk between me and matt!

Spoiler:
Apparently Chickenfish was vanilla town(I say was because I am near certain Chickenfish is getting lynched today) but when town figures out that the remaining mafia member (me) targeted Chickenfish with the night kill (after Snark is NK'd or lynched by town thinking Snark was false claiming due to having my role, they will look at Chickenfish's scum list looking for scum trying to silence the voice calling them out as possible scum, and the withheld kill thing I mentioned was (IMAO) brilliant wine, the whole getting wam lynched instead of me thing was brilliant, as I had decent public information based suspicion (not OMGUS) and that puts me in the clear (for now), basically, what I am trying to say is that because there is a jailkeeper, there is only a 1/3 chance of a cop, who could ruin everything for me, and because there was no doctor claim, I feel it is likely we are in the setup of 1 jailkeeper and 6 vanilla town, and although the numbers suggest otherwise, I can still pull out a win after the town/scum list wam posted D1 that I feared would out us both right then and there,
Town no can haz shalt not have isn't going to achieve perfect victory (at least not with the way things are pilling up against Chickenfish)

Note to self: do not post unreadable walls of text, it is often poorly done (when I do it) and makes me look scummy (even though in this case I happen to be scum, that's not the point)

Spoiler:
Mission 1: They should use KaCEoY, and save ITS for the next mission. Spies are going to crush this game out of the park. :)

2 of 4:
Spoiler:
I'm on the replacement list so I haven't been reading spoilers, but I suspect t1mm. KrO2 and fearless could have pushed the votes toward MN if they wanted. Only Snark and t1mm were actively trying to save wam.

It would be totally awesome if scum-Snark realized that he was screwed unless he did something drastic - something like false-claiming bodyguard. If there's a counter-claim, he's put out of his misery, but if not... he might just win it!
