10,000 Pull-ups (or Chin-ups)
By popular demand, a thread for one of the world's great exercises. Like the 10,000 pushup thread or the 10,000 miles thread, do some pull-ups and then add the number you did to the old number until we reach 10,000.
I'll start out with my 35 I did over two sets.

Excellent. I would have started it myself, but I didn't want to be the only one doing them.
Here're mine from last week, just to help us get started:
35 + 51 = 86
(Looking like this: 18, 6 and 18, 9. I was doing pullups as the first exercise of a very long circuit, so by the time I rolled back around for the second go, I was in rough shape.)

86 + 37 = 123
(37 = 18 + 10 + 9. I'm not deliberately stopping at 18 the first time each time... it's just sort of happening. Oh well. At least the subsequent sets are getting more solid.)

I guess I can add my totals too. Most people can barely do 1, so the lack of enthusiasm isn't without cause. That being said, I only just started being able to do them, but I'm sure you'll see my numbers rise as the weeks go on.

Some of my big numbers are from multiple sets. That 17 is actually from two different sets (although with 25 extra pounds each time.)

These are usually from three sets, unweighted, done after my main workout. Typically, about half the reps are from the first set, and the other two are shorter.

2 sets 25 lb, as usual at the start of my exercising. Almost up to 2 sets of 12 each, at which point I will up the weight.

Well just keep doing 'em and soon enough you will be putting up some big numbers too.
Indeed! Looking through my logs I was rocking 13 back in February. Hell, ~18 months ago I was proud to do 2.
