I have a Windows 7 PC that is used predominately as a HTPC using Windows Media Player.
It constantly bluescreens. When I analyse the minidump files, windbg says that ntkrnlpa,exe is the most likely cause and

interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.

bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)

I haven't changed any hardware. I don't know if anything has failed on the board. Once I had to pop the BIOS battery to reset the BIOS so it would boot.
Is this likely to be a software or hardware fault?

AMD Athlon II X2 250
2 Gb RAM (single stick, Kingston?)

2x WinFast DTV2000 DS dual digital TV tuner cards
Gigabyte NVidia GeForce 210 graphics
