I'm going to post, just to show that I am paying attention here. Even if everyone is ignoring me. I think that the single-minded concentration on attacking me has totally blinded the town to even trying to suss out mafia. If I were town, I would be concerned about this.

I dont' really know who the mafia are at this point and I don't want to vote for someone who might not be mafia. I also don't want to end up with a situation whereby the vampire's outed on Day 2 and somehow still wins the game (like lataro in pokemafia).

Personally, I don't want to end up in a situation where any scum win, period. I've made it pretty clear that an mpolo lynch is almost definitely a mafia win. So not knowing who mafia is is no excuse--mpolo is still about the worst possible person to vote for right now.

what that doesn't make sense AT ALL. Not knowing who the mafia are at this point means lynching/damaging a town which is even WORSE because that means the mafia can kill them easier.

Voting mpolo is no doubt favorable to the scum. But it's even more obvious that voting for a townie mistaken for a scum is even more favorable to the scum. The determining factor for the pro-town action is not whether voting for mpolo helps the scum, but whether it helps the town, who has to defeat two levels of scum. That in turn is based primarily on the likelyhood that the non-mpolo identified target is scum.

You're forgetting, lynching mpolo is a certain town loss. If the nightkill doesn't kill it's 2-1-2, which is a loss for town because the survivor will vote with mafia. If it does kill it's even worse: 1-1-2 or 2-2, both of which are losses.

So even if we were to randomly lynch someone we'd do better than lynching mpolo. So while it technically wouldn't be better to lynch town, it couldn't possibly be worse. Therefore, fearless's comment about not wanting the vampire to win (but who cares about town, apparently) strikes me as very scummy.

You are both wrongly assuming the survivor will be able to correctly identify the scum (obviously if scum claim in try to get the survivor on their side, the town should likewise claim scum, meaning the initial scum claim is not credible), and ignoring night actions besides the mafia NK, eg. the vampire is sure to try to target scum, and it is in theory possible they will kill one.

The town may not be likely to win voting mpolo today. It probably isn't even in the our best interest to vote mpolo today. But at the moment, who else are we to vote for? The scum elude me.

It seems to me that at this point a random vote is better than one for mpolo. And since my feel for the scum's identity is not strong at the moment, my decision is simply to bandwagon, to help ensure that someone besides mpolo is lynched.

Silknor was the mafia NK target.

TMG was the primary target for Shotgun. (fearless and mpolo were secondary).
mpolo was poked with the stick.
Mpolo took poison damage.
Silknor and fearless were given paper cuts.

Is suspicioius of TMG. Claimed paper cutter. Didn't target the mythological creature last night. Couldn't have known there'd be no other deaths.

Just reread lich. Can only die at negative energy if lynched, even if already at negative energy. Frustrating.

Noticed something else though. Cannot vote while at negative energy. Means mafia plus survivor have a majority. Is tired of this game.

Claim: Scum. Survivor does not want to be hit by AV, or our nightkill. Will vote the mythological creature along with us. Will win tommorrow when they help us lynch town.

Vote: mpolo

PS: Can confirm that the mythological creature has negative energy. Has ITWN.

So town did very little right here. [I had the only substantial attacks on scum, and scum found me...] (Can there really be only one townie left? I guess so: 3 scum + collector + vampire + townie.) I guess I should shut up and stop risking giving the Groucho more points, huh?

That's not entirely fair. It was town who found T1mm, you just helped kill him quicker. I'm not at all impressed with town's performance at the end though.

There's two town left, but we know you can't vote, so the plurality of two scum plus survivor will get us four the win. I guess it's basically over now, unless the survivor decides to play against their win condition, or one of you pulls something amazing out of your sleeve. I'm pretty sure you can't though, there aren't many interesting roles left.

I guess that's true. I was mostly attacking whoever had taken the most damage in the previous day/night cycle to try to guarantee a kill. (If I had been around, I might not have attacked Silknor, who was caught by the rule I had sent Lataro to govern my kill in my absence.) But I did decide that you were who I would have voted had I been town (and had a vote yesterday). and I'm happy about that. :P

I think that the survivor should side with town as town has significantly higher energy than mafia, and we can actually still win at this point by having everyone else work against scum (65 lynch damage + 50 vampire NK damage is higher than all of the mafia's night kills combined) so at this point the survivor can win with whichever side they chose, they just have to decide if they want a mafia player who got picked out D1 to get credit for a win they don't deserve or not.

Nope, not gonna work, if the survivor votes with town we'll bring all our 100 energy NK power to bear to make sure they lose. They have to vote with us if they want to win. Speaking of which, TMG (the survivor) has completely disappeared lately, can we get a prod or replacement or something? I'd hate to lose this just because the player I'm counting on happens to be inactive.

Look, I've got a confession to make. I've been feeling pretty guilty about this game. I didn't give it the attention it deserved, didn't do anything interesting and yet seem to be about to win by default. Or I would be if I was sure that mostlynormal wouldn't shoot me in the back. After all, he's already shot me once. What's to stop him doing it again?

So, matt, do you wanna possibly team up. I'm 90% sure that mn's holding all the weapons. If we kill him before he kills us then we've got a good chance of winning this together. After all, we've both got hats, right? That's got to count for something, alliance-wise. So do the right thing. vote for MN. Just like I am. Just like fearless is.

Vote: mostlynormal

(No pressure, but if you don't get online before him and fearless do then I've basically just signed my own death warrant).

Because a game's more fun if it goes down to the wire. Because scum should be punished for revealing themselves. Because, no matter what the others might say, there's no reason the survivor can't win with town.

This is pretty funny. It doesn't matter though TMG, we don't need you anymore. We can force a no lynch and finish off matt with an NK.

I don't really understand though. Why would I shoot you in the back? Do I have some extra win condition for killing the survivor? Remember this is an open game. I'm just playing to win.

And what was I supposed to do, sit through that incredibly boring one-post-a-RL-day day and watch as town self-destructed? All that would've done would be to draw out an already overly long game. At the point we were at it would've come down to scum winning somehow eventually or mpolo (the guy outed on day 2) winning in a repeat of pokemafia.

So you've got two options. Vote matt and get this game over with, or vote against us and wait for us to--eventually--finish off the 300 something energy matt, with the exact same outcome as before.

So there's no reason the survivor can't win, sure, but town's already done for. I just want to get this over with already--the last two days were bad enough. Remember, that was town's fault--it wasn't exactly up to the vampire, the survivor and the mafia to keep the game moving, now was it?
