Accepted.

Rules:
Spoiler:
§1 Players may make one motion to change the rules per post.
§2 Motions are decided by the next player who posts. They can either be accepted or refused.
§3 If a motion is accepted, the rules have to be updated in that post.
§4 Double Posting is forbidden.
§5 Players have the ability to earn gold. Players get 10 gold when one of the player's motions passes.
§6 If there is a rule allowing it in Nomy 1.0, tokens may be bought for 9 gold each.
§7 Players may buy 'magic' for 10 gold, and 'more magic' for 30 gold. You must have 'magic' to buy 'more magic'.
§8 With more magic, you can get the Computer to work. Oh, and also there is a computer.
§9 When someone with a negative amount of gold makes a nomic based post, their gold is reset to zero.
§10 The player who gets the Computer to work will be rewarded with 20 internets.
§11 Each player may award another player 1 Internet as thanks for a really awesome motion, with each player being allowed to give out up to 1 internet per day (based on forum time)
§12 One can earn one (1) Internet for having a link in your sig to this thread advertising it as a place to play nomic.
§13 For 15 internets, you can download an awesome point
§14 You can spend 1 Internet to make a post in this thread that is a double post without being penalized in gold, this is done by saying "This is my Internet, and I shall use it as I see fit!" in bold italics at the top of the post, this cannot be done if you do not have at least 1 Internet at the time you attempt to do this.
§15 War has been declared on the Nomy 1.0 thread. You are allowed to be on both sides of the war.
§16 Players with no magic shall be referred to as muggles, players with magic are mages, and players with more magic are warlocks.
§17 The Computer grants you 5 internets if you join the side of this thread in the war.
§18 Every player who posts more than a day after the previous post shall get 10*days^2 gold.
§19 You can steal pet unicorns from Nomic 16.0 and use them in the war.
§20 Mages and ninjas are mortal enemies. Likewise with warlocks and samurais.
§21 Players with negative scores are to be removed from the list of players.
§22 The computer is awesome, our friend, and will lead us in the war.
§23 A new thread will be created to contain the war between ttng and nomy1.0
§24 The Computer distrusts all magic (i.e. spells from Nomy, warlocks and mages, the dragon and pet unicorns) because they are not technology.

If you're going to play nomic here, at least have the decency to post more infrequently. I don't want to go back to snagging an hour here and there; I like just grabbing 7 or 8 at a time.

I make a motion that each person playing nomic in this thread is limited to 3 posts in this thread each day (based on forum time) in order to let people have a chance to play thread necromancy.

If you are posting in to necro the thread, posting more than 3 times a day means something is going wrong, people are in general just supposed to wait until everyone forgets about it, then necro for huge time gains, but this thread (as far as I can tell) fails miserably compared to what it should ideally be.

Motion A: I make a motion that 10 gold is given to each Nomic member who exceeds the last Nomic member in time duration of posting since the last post.

Motion B: I make a motion that if a Nomic member makes a post, such that the duration between the last thread post and theirs is smaller, then that Nomic member loses 1 gold.

Motion C: I make a motion that Nomic members receive 100 gold if they suceed in having the post duration from the last thread post to theirs, being the same duration (in minutes) as had been previously claimed by the last thread member.

I motion that all Nomic members of the Thread Necromancy thread should vote and pass one of the above Motions. If voting is tied, then all motions with equal high votes are passed. Members may vote on all 3 Motions in a single post. Voting will last for 24 hours from now.

I didn't pass a motion. There was no reason to update the rules because they didn't change.

I could not undo the knots of an undeveloped MOOOOUUUUUTTTHHHHH!

I propose we don't turn this into nomic first, thread necromancy second.

Reasoning: the point of this game is to see how long you can wait before posting. 10 posts in an hour for nomic makes this game less satisfying.
